I do not think Twila will last very long. She will grate on the rest of the women. Hell, she was grating on me and she only had about 2 minutes of screen time. I can't imagine being around her all day.
Eliza is annoying. Why do you come on Survivor if you can't swim? Bubba!!! Brook seemed kinda like a cocky asshole. Better that he is gone. |
I liked how somebody misspelled Brook's name as "Brooke."
BURN! As for Dolly, I've got a "pole" that's been "greased with pig fat" that she can "climb." |

I see 2 of the older guys, Chris and the one that can not swim that need to go soon. I am a little glad to see one of the young guys go first to show that if you are young and in shape you maybe a target. Now hopefully next time they will go for the weakest link.

I'm so tired of this "male vs. female" crap. Burnett has already done this on Survivor and now twice on the Apprentice.
Can you imagine the uproar if a reality show pitted whites against blacks? (Granted, that would mean they would need to cast more than 1-2 minorities per season.) Why is it ok to constantly pit men against women? |

Originally posted by B.A. I think it's time to start allowing foreigners in the cast. Good idea. |

Originally posted by Groucho Why? Just about every country has it's own "Survivor" franchise. I don't give a rat's ass about what every other country does, but I would like to see how the dynamic would change if you threw a few foreigners in with Americans. |
What would be really cool is if they did a Survivor where all the castaways spoke a different language, and nobody understood anybody else. They could call it "Survivor: Hell in the Pacific."

I wonder if there was some way the producers got blindsided on the vote too? You'd think they would've shown him more if they had any film of him. It just seemed like the vote had nothing to do with what was shown in the episode. If something happened later on in the game when you know the characters that could be interesting, but I had no clue which one Brook was. I've seen every episode of every Survivor, but I don't recall the ending of an episode leaving me feeling so flat (except for most of the Thailand season).

Be sure to finish your "investigation" before Noon Pacific time!

I would like a survivor where there were 2 8-person tribes. Each of the tribes would be made of 4 pairs of people who are close to each other (siblings, best friends, etc.). Would add an interesting dynamic to the game as eventually you would have to vote out your companions.

Originally posted by icondude I'm reasonably sure that there has been at least one already. Some woman originally from Taiwan I want to see a Survivor where every castmember lives on their own little island and just meets at the challenges. No, I'm kidding. That would be idiotic. But I did think at first last night that the tribes might live with the actual Vanuatu tribe from the opening. That might have been interesting. |

Seems to me that this may be more perception on your part. I recall a problem with cute young females not working too. On that one survivor where the one black contestant was accused of groping the female contestant, he pulled his weight as much as the short guy. Seems in that series the men in general did not pull their weight. On the African one, there were some issues with integrity, but I do not recall the one black contestant being lazy. Just my recollections. |
