I didn't see last night's episode yet, but was there a percentage breakdown given? Or did they eliminate one and leave the top two? If so, who was second?

I think that John and Alonzo were far superior to Gary. I would have been happy with either of them winning. After thinking about it, I was rooting for John, since Alonzo's material was so old and cliche...

Gary was announced as second runner-up first, then after a commercial break, John was announced as winner over Alonzo.

No we are not kidding. He sucked. I've seen funnier shit at a bar on dollar bottle night. And if your definition of awesome is "obnoxious and fat", then I'm sorry.

Hopefully next season will vindicate Dave Mordell.

I was watching Comic Remix this morning and guess who was on it... a very "1992" Kathleen Madigan... and it was the routine about 'maternal instincts' and 'how kids are like homeless people'... is her schtick really that old?

But for the record, I did laugh!

Glad John won. He and Alonzo were the best 2 from this season.

As far as Grandma Lee...I'd do her......again.

Ralphie and Dat have had over a year and they still can't come up with new material. They were both terrible.

Norton killed and I think would have had a shot to win it all if he had stayed.

Gary sure does like cookies.

Yes he does! I noticed the same thing last week when he went on about the fig newtons after talking about oreos and milk-n-cookies the previous 2 weeks. I thought it was funny that Jay called him the keebler elf.

I was glad John won. I think it went down the right way. I could have lived with the decision if Alonzo had won too. But based on their last performance (in which I thought Alonzo and Gary didn't bring their "A" game) I thought John was the best.

I'm hoping to catch John in Cleveland in a few weeks - I see he's going to be at the improv. Should be fun.

Gary, Jay London, and Alonzo are supposed to be coming to the Improv in Pittsburgh in the next month. I might go check it out, although the presence of Jay London might be enough to keep me away.

I'm looking forward to seeing John, Rich, and Dave the most next season. But I did also like Gary and Alonzo.

I am not looking forward to Dat, Ant, or the black chick who likes to tell the fat sexy chick jokes. Damn.

But I can't wait to hear Jay London say "thank you"
That will be sweet.

Oh, man does Jay Mohr suck major ball sweat or what?

Dat Phan is just awful. He's doing warmed over Margaret Cho without half her talent. I agree with Apeyard on how he still can't come up with new or better material after a year.

As far as Asian male comics are concerned, Henry Cho was one of the best, and never had to resort to doing the same old heavy accented schtick.

Also, am I the only who finds Bonnie McFarlane to be totally hot?

Congrats, JH!! As I said before, I did think he was the best overall performer and deserved to win. His delivery adds so much to his routine and I think the audiences just feed off of that.

Ralphie May sucks and I don't know why people ever liked him. He tells all his jokes like he's a woman from the ghetto. Most of his jokes from season 1 were fat jokes or "ghetto jokes" -- boring. I actually liked his set this season better than last season.

Dat is an ok comic. I think people are way too hard on him. He was/is better than Ralphie, but he has no range. He tells the same kind of jokes. He shoudn't have won... I was routing for Dave Mordal and a couple others.

I'm glad Heffron won. I like all 3 of the finalists.

Ummm.. no. Based on the set I saw Jay Mohr do in Vegas, he could take on any of the 10 comics this season without even trying. I saw him with my brother and a couple of friends. We were crying because we were laughing so hard.

I don't think LCS really gives any indication of how good (or how dirty) Jay's stand-up is.

I was very happy with the results. I don't feel that John is a breakout superstar comic, but of those near the end, he was better.

Next year I am rooting for Rick Vos. I never saw him on the first season of LCS (missed all the episodes except the last) but I love him on Tough Crowd.

Seeing Ralphie and Dat on this show makes me realize how much better the comics were overall this year.

I tell you what, though, I don't know if I'll tune in next season or not. It just irritates the hell out of me how they stretch this thing out hour after hour after hour. Of course, Tivo makes it much easier to swallow, but still...

I thought that same thing. You'd think that after stretching out the final hour of programming into 12 hours, they could at least take one full minute to let John enjoy the spotlight.

Actually, it's more of a testament to how much better the audience was this year.

I saw Jay mohr on Leno the other night. The guy never fails to kill me with his talk show appearances. He started complaining about how the audience was kissing Leno's ass. Mohr would tell a story and it wouldn't get a laugh until Leno would make a one word retort. After he pointed it out they did it two more times
