Those two are great to watch. One of the two teams I am rooting for. His face was great as they flew by everyone.

Its ironic. When watching the show I actually feel sorry that Charla has to be teamed up with Mirna as opposed to vice versa.

Sure most of the physical challenges have to be done by Charla but if there's anyone that's creating a handicap for that team its Mirna with her attitude and scheming.

It was hilarious how Chip just plowed through that mission by just picking them up one by one and plopping the goats into the boat while the other teams seemed to really toil at it. I don't know why they didn't go after more of the babies if they were so light.

How in the blue hell were the twins 96 minutes ahead of the bowling moms at the beginning of the leg?

I like Chip (not so much Kim, since she has not really shown a personality at this point), and the twins. I like the twins since they are so goofy. They screw everything up, know that they are idiots (and freely admit it), but still manage to stay in the race. I laughed when one of them took a face plant and had the natives laughing at them.

Little late to the thread, but where are all the people who were defending that bitch Mirna last week? Charla's also a whiney bitch at times, but at least she really works hard and has some redeeming qualities. There's nothing redeeming about Mirna, and how anyone could defend her is beyond me.

Well I guess I'm one that defended Mirna. I still like her and am still rooting for that team to win. I still don't see anything extremely annoying about her. She didn't whine any more than any other team that episode yet every one singles her out. They show one incident with the car and everyone blasts her. Didn't Chip do a similar thing with the twins in an episode a long time ago, both Chip and one of the twins got into a cab and both refused to leave. I forget who climbed in first, I think it was a twin. But now people say Chip is their favorite. How soon you people forget and just find things to pick on about the people you dislike for whatever reason. Bunch of hypocrites.

The quitting brothers are the worst team ever. I give them no sympathy. They knew they were last, so they knew they didn't have to exert themselves to finish the race. They were just to lazy and unmotivated to even try. Even if it takes you ten hours to walk to the cab/boat, you know you're done after this leg, pride should motivate you to continue. Especially since the one that was hurt was sitting in a freaking chair while the other one was digging. Was that too much pain to continue? Was sitting in that chair too much? What a worthless team, taking up a spot.

jeraden chip was an ass over that, but has redeemed himself since then.

Mirna has just been an ass the whole time.

The difference is, Chip and the twins both had a right to that cab. She had no right to C&C's cab. She is annoying, useless and delusional.

Thought I'd chime in with my thoughts. I'm with Jeraden, I like both Charla and Mirna too. I don't understand all the hatred this team generates. and i for one defend them. flame away.

I hope they win, if for no other reason than piss off all the C+M haters.

I also think the term "team 1.5" is demeaning.

Colin is a punk, he looks like he could be abusive someday. His girlfriend should dump him now. They could win though.

I like Nicole much better then Brandon, no surprise there. they have a chance too. He's way too much of a bible thumper for my likes.

The brothers I didn't care for. I don't blame them for stopping, it's not quiting if you CAN'T continue. Only he knows how much pain he was in.

Colin does look intense at times, but the fact that he was able to sit there calmly and encourage Christie to eat that caviar while they were blowing their lead indicates that he is more caring than he appears. My husband would have been bitching at me if it had been us.

I hate hate hate team 1.5 (I say 1.5 not because Charla is "1/2" is worth half a person, but because Mirna is).

While Charla can get on my nerves sometimes, she is no worse than some of the other competitors....Mirna on the other hand

No matter what country they are in, she uses some odd european accent as if that will substitute for not knowing the language

She is a bitch to the other competitors. While chip/kim and the twins reached a cab at the same time and fought over it, this idiot tried to steal a cab that had OTHER PEOPLE'S LUGGAGE IN IT

She is twice the size of Charla but bitches about having to exert any energy whatsoever (ie: making Charla carry the slab of beef)

When she isn't using her fake european accent, her voice and "american" accent is really annoying

The fact that she is a bitch to the other competitors and tries to steal their cabs, save places in line and by extra plane tickets to keep other people from being able to by one and then had the nerve to cry and whine when they get rude back to her

Also, it is just wrong that they are supposedly in this race to show that little people can win this kind of race, but they don't hesitate to use the disability any chance they can get

So Chip may have done one questionable thing? Even that's debateable, it looked like he either got to the cab first or it was at least a tie... And he more than made up for it when he helped the other teams out later. Has 1.5 helped anyone?

The difference is that even if Chip did do something wrong -- that's one thing compared to Mirna who has been an annoying bitch from Episode 1.

It's not the team; it's just Mirna. Considering the way she regards the other teams is bad enough, but the way she treats her own teammate generates my disdain for her. For as many times as I heard "come on, Charla", "Hurry up", "We're in a race", etc, I enjoyed the poetic justice that Charla had the opportunity to feed some lines like that back at her in this leg. Nobody else treats his or her teammate this badly*, not even Lance, for as miserable and pessimistic about the whole experience as he and Marshall were, he didn't regard his brother with anything less than compassion. And at every Roadblock, Mirna tries to weasel out of doing it; at every Detour that involves physical exertion, she complains that she can't complete it.

And lest you think it's all about the Mirna-hate, I'd like to add that I was impressed with the Bowling Moms recovery, getting extremely lucky that they were in a place that had lots of tourists, "The Motherload!", and the plane delay which allowed yet another taxi misfortune. They're in last place again, but still hanging in there. Three more non-elimination legs remain, so we'll get to see how other teams handle the penalty too.

*Later, I remembered Alison & Donny, but you see how that turned out in the race and real life.

There is no doubt Chip was wrong in the taxi stunt with the twins. He knows it, which is why he asked for forgiveness. I rewatched it and the twins had the taxi before he did. Though I applaud his optimism.

And to me, that is all Chip. It's like watching a little kid play the game at times. I told people with me the first time he one a segment.... wow... look at his face. That is pure joy. I like that.

I thought he was wrong in the taxi thing with the twins, but I can look past it. At this point, I like that team. I like his wife's attitiude and her wanting to be an active help to the team. Very cool.

Twins. I still like them. But they are clueless and don't deserve to win. But I admire their spunk.

Mirna. Yeah... sorry. I find them entertaining. But she is often wrong and doesn't see it and displays some pretty bad traits and is cluelessly making enemies when she could have played the game as well without pissing everyone else off. Not smart. Mirna also seems to weak in many things and that accent in every country? I like Charla better, at least she tries more and seems to have a better attitude. Mirna was dead wrong in the taxi thing and also seemed wrong in the line shoving (she was going in what seemed the out line).

Anyone surprised that Team Luigi didn't have a lot of stamina? Really? I agree with what someone else noted. I think they were in this for the publicity as much as anything.

I like the bowling moms a lot more now. Other than a small waver in being positive at the dig site, they have kept their spirits up and kept trying. Good for them to have made it this far. And lucky about the non-elimination leg.

Colin? I don't like him anymore now than I did at the start. He seems like psycho arrogance.

Brandon? Please, God has more important things to think about than helping you find a scarab.

AND WTF??? How could people not know what a SCARAB is? That is a load of dung!

I have mixed feelings about the roadblock. It can be a lot of luck finding the scarab, one team can just find it on first dig... you may have to dig in the last spot in your square. Kinda like that chocolate roadblock. But at least in this case, technique mattered. How fast you could scour the sand mattered. What seemed really hard was people not knowing how big it was. They were sifting with that screen in case it was something small.

All in all, a very enjoyable season.

Mirna/Charla helped the one team when their car was stuck in the mud, which was going more out of their way to help someone than any other team has done so far if you consider the amount of time it took. In return, that team left them in the dust later.

They were snubbed 2 other times. Once in the airport where they were in a mutual relationship with the jesus twins again, when they were lied to directly about the other team not having someone else buying them a plane ticket. Then again later in the forest when they were picking the time cards off trees. I can't remember exactly what happened there, but I believe it was the daughter/father team that initially agreed to work with them, then just ignored them.

So I don't blame them for decided to screw the other teams and tackle the whole thing alone. All the other teams have proved unreliable. Not that there is anything wrong with that, but why should they help others if 3 times others haven't attempted to help them?

And as far as their "fake european accent" as someone put it. If you look at their bio page, they weren't even born in the US. I can't remember the specific country right now, I think it might have been Croatia. So any complaints about their accent or them using foreign words frequently is pretty petty and ignorant.

Mirna being taller than Charla has no real relevance. You can tell she isn't muscular. Charla on the other hand, is pretty muscular. So I don't see whats wrong with having Charla do physical tasks. Its no different than having any of the guys doing them instead of their girls/wives. If anything, this is exactly the kind of stereotype that Charla keeps saying she's trying to prove wrong, that little people can do just as much as normal people.

Unless my memory is incorrect, I don't recall Mirna/Charla ever saving places in line or buying extra plane tickets. I think you are getting her mixed up with Colin/Christie or some other team. They did buy tickets to 2 different flights at one point I believe, but so did some other teams, but it wasn't to stop other teams from getting a flight. One of the rules they mention from time to time is you can only buy 1 set of tickets for a flight.

So again, its all just selective memory and concentrating on the negatives of the teams you don't like and ignoring the negatives of the teams you do like.

For me, the dislike of Sharla and Mirna stems from their constant(at least in the first couple of episodes) spouting of how they are in this race to show that little people can do everything a normal size person can. And the fact that anyone not helping them is disrespecting them.
Add that to the fact that they then use Charla's size as an excuse to get priority seating/special treatment. How many times did they use the medical emergency route to get on a flight they might not otherwise got on?

And the final thing that annoys me about them. Anytime someone does something that Mirna doesn't like, she calls them names like criminal, etc.
