Alonzo should lose if for no other reason than that horrible defense joke.
Not to mention stealing that hockey/golf joke. Still, he deserved to move on.

I love Kathleen, but she is the most established comic on the show - John needed this more.
That, and she really didn't bring it when it counted. I saw her live only 2 weeks ago, and she was on fire. If I didn't already know she was really good, I wouldn't have figured it out from her routine on Last Comic Standing. Kind of disappointing to know she has more talent than she let everyone see during this. Oh well.

I was a bit surprised Heffron moved on. Playing the statistics game, I figured one of the women would make it instead of him (assuming Gary and Alonzo took most of the vote). Still, I'm glad he'll be moving forward. He definitely has skills.

Another thing das, is that Kathleen really had limited exposure on this show. No head-to-heads, the immunity that she won was playing for the kids, and she kind of quietly sat around the house. We saw her audition, give up against Ant as a tour guide, and then heard her on stage for the first time in the round of six.

Not quite what I'd call a fighting chance.

Hopefully she will come to the forefront if she chooses to participate in the third season.

And I hope that each of the last three comics gets at least 10-12 minutes to do their sets on Tuesday, and they leave the special guests in the stands clapping.

But I guess we should expect a routine from Dat Phan.

Jay (not Mohr) is one of the worst comics I've ever seen.

But to answer your question... yes there are a ton of good comics out there. I've been to 3 comedy clubs in the last 6 months or so and have seen some great acts.

There were some really good comics that tried out for the show that didn't get picked because I think the show's producers didn't pick the best comics, but pretty good comics with the personalities they wanted for "good television." Ant sucked, but they picked him for "good tv."

Todd Glass was funny and I think he should have been picked.

But Bonnie? Did she say a single funny thing? If she did, I can't remember. I though she was awful.

I didn't think Todd Glass was funny. Goofy and Silly? Yes. Funny? No.

I didn't think he was funny off-stage. I thought he was annoying. On-stage though, I thought he had a very good act and I believe he could have taken on most of the final 6. I honestly believe people didn't vote for him because they didn't like him (not his act). People voted for Jay because they thought he was nice, not because they liked his act.

How Tammy won against Todd in unexplainable.

I thought her c**t joke and her anorexia joke were both hilarious, to pick two that come immediately to mind.

I don't remember the 1st one, which is unusual, but the second one was moderately funny.

I thought she had pretty good delivery and had potential, but she's an awful writer.

wow, bonnie has two funny jokes, that's the only jokes anyone ever talks about, any i don't find those two funny anyway. she's not funny at all and she just cut her hair so she looks ugly. her hotness used to be the only thing going for her but it's GONE

Didn't she also have a joke about only getting one boob done... and that was supposed to be funny?!

Hehe, this week on The Soup when the host told a bad joke, they'd show a clip of the lcs crowd laughing. The host said, "Man, the lcs crowd will laugh at anything."

I don't remember the joke verbatim, but the gist of it was she doesn't mind being called "sweetie" or "honey" because once you've been called a "c**t," "sweetie" doesn't seem so bad.

And for me, the original anorexia joke ("How do I keep so trim? First, I always tkae the stairs, and second, I have anorexia")wasn't the really funny part -- the funny part was the follow up ("My agent called me up. He said, 'You know, Bonnie -- you're getting a little big to be telling that joke.' That's how it starts. That's the seed.")

i can't see how you people actually like hearing a joke repeated 5 times, she keeps repeating. you can separate the bad comics from the good comics by material. bonnie repeats the same jokes over and over again, i'm tired of it.

alonzo, jogn, and gary always have new material.

i think the only thing worth repeating over and over again is "It's a pleasure to be here tonight, thank you."

Why are they dragging these semi-final shows out? Why do we need 2 hours to see 3 comics performances? (And cause a nightmare for my poor ReplayTV, since there is so much on TV tonight!) Please tell me this show's finale is on Thursday, I can't take it anymore!!
