They probably would have made the camel people wait even longer than they actually did. There is no way they made it to the camels in the three minutes they had. No way. The producers seem to be giving them a lot of help. Holding the ferry so they aren't the last team while in South America. Seats suddenly freeing up on the flight to Russia so they are no longer in last place.

It was a great move by them to be searching out a quicker flight, but I don't think they would be in this game right now without a lot of "luck" going their way.

I could believe that the camel guys waited an extra two minutes or so but do we really think that the producers are helping them?

I mean, that's just no fair to the other contestants. Phil can't be enjoying the hugs from Mirna and Schmirna that much, can he?

For me, it's hard to explain. They think they're so funny and the editors of the show try to make us believe they are too, but I just find the irritating. Their peronalities just grate on me.

I don't hate them like I hate Flo from two season ago, but they are the only team I am routing for to be elimated and right now the only team that would make me mad if they won.

The producers have to be careful about fixing the outcome if this type of show falls under the game show category under the law.

I'm pretty much with tofu on this one. I think the camel guys might have been nice and held things up. Now maybe that was because of the midget factor.

I don't think they are the only team that has been helped (military dad and daughter in the first leg at LA airport. They weren't even in the airport yet, and their flight was leaving in five minutes, yet they made it). I think that seeing a team get blown out is not what they want, so they will try to aid a team that is going to be hung out to dry. This happens to be Mirna and Charla a lot of the time.

to the "conspiracy theory" about Charla and Mirna being helped by the producers.

It was obvious that they got the attention of the camel guys (Mirna was shown blowing her whistle...I thought only Charla had one of those), so the guys waited.

I haven't seen anything suspicious in this season, or in season's past, regarding the producers "fixing" the outcome of the game.

I am surprised we have not seen it more, and I fully expect teams in TAR7 seeing as how 6 is filming/filmed to all have whistles.

I'm sure it is not rigged in the sense that they are fixing the outcome. It just seems a tad unfair in a game where everything is so strictly based around times to flex that for certain people. Even Charla said they should turn around because they'll never make it. She was thinking be there at 5:30 means be there at 5:30. Not half a mile away blowing a whistle. It's no more unfair than bunching the team's up though I guess. Colin and Christie would be running away with this thing if it weren't for that so I guess certain constraints (and boosts) need to be administered to make it a fun show. I do enjoy the show.

I think they have one whistle between the two of them. When Lanky sent Stubby down into the cave, and then started worrying that Stubby had been eaten by a monster, she said something like "I should have given her the whistle."

One thing to point out, MAYBE their watch was wrong? Maybe it was a little slow? Maybe they didn't set it correctly when the landed, so it wasn't really only three minutes? Or, maybe it wasn't that, maybe they really only had a few minutes. Still, maybe the camel guys saw the ridiculous amount of lights on the camera following Charla and Mirna everywhere and wanted to be on TV or wanted to help the midget OR were bored and wanted to at least have the one team ride?

All the team midget haters are right, if it weren't for the producers cheating, they would have been long gone. Take the lastest leg for example. If they didn't get on the horses, there's no effing way in hell they could've pulled that 2 stones. NO EFFING WAY!!!

Charla would have pulled the stones, while Mirna would have stood there and cried and whined like a child.

I was also thinking that they were either bored, just wanted ot have one team hump and ride, or just wanted to be on TV. Either that or they saw them coming and didn't want to walk away from them, because it's rude to do so.

What about the fact that Team 1.5 never seems to have their back-packs on? You see every other team running to their destination with their backpacks on. I doubt they leave it in the cab all the time.

It kind of makes you wonder if the cameraman holds their bag or that they have someone else watch them.

I am not saying they never carry their bags, as they had it at the final pit stop at this episode, but it seems that when other teams are lugging their bags, team 1.5 are free as birds in a number of instances.

In the past, I have noticed lots of teams dropping their packs and running to the pit stop. They go and pick them up later.

So true. Mirna doesnt do anything! I really didnt like them in the first few episodes, but they didnt seem that annoying on tuesday.

I really just want to see the brothers get booted. Im really starting to hate them now.
