i assume those ones on Fox were ones they had to burn off before TBS starts showing it, right? somewhat confusing if you aren't paying attention.

Yeah, they're episodes 17, 21 and 22 from the 8th production cycle. Unofficially making it Season 11, though American Dad has always had a screwed up season labeling scheme.
One of the episode titles for Season 12 / 9th Production Cycle is "Holy Shit, (spoiler)!" which is definitely a TBS title.
This upcoming Sunday's episode is the actual last produced episode from last season. All 3 eps are Roger centric.

Gee that explains that. Two episodes on my DVR. Nice surprise. "A Boy Named Michael" was especially delightfully offensive.

American Dad! (Fox) -- Season 11 Thread
Well, Hulu is not showing the current episodes and I don't have cable. So, for those why may have caught the last 3 or 4 episodes--what did you think?
I'm hoping that when the show starts on TBS, the quality will maintain.
The episodes that have broadcast so far (as my understanding):
"Roger Passes the Bar"
"A Boy Named Michael"
"Blargsnarst, a Love Story"
Strangely enough there are some clips on the Hulu site for some of these episodes:

Wouldn't FOX have been better off keeping this on after Family Guy instead of putting Mulany there?

Can't wait to see how much better this will be on cable. Anyone watch the premiere yet?

By this point American Dad is a known quantity, it was never going to be a mega-hit. The slot after Family Guy is very valuable for Fox, since that show brings an audience to Fox that isn't watching the channel for much else. Fox hasn't been very good in recent years at developing comedies.

Re: American Dad! (Fox) -- Season 11 Thread
Those episodes aired on Fox, Season 11 was actually a "mini-season" that was only 3 episodes long. The first episode of the TBS run was Blonde Ambition.
So far
TBSE01 - Blonde Ambition - Pretty decent, some funny jokes.
TBSE02 - CIAPOW - Easily the worst, laziest episode I've seen of this entire series.

Mondays at 9 PM seems so random. I wonder how the ratings are holding up? They have not been repeating these new episodes. They get one airing per week.

Re: American Dad! (Fox) -- Season 11 Thread
The latest episode pulled a 0.6 and 1.2m viewers which is passable, it's like CW numbers.
The funny thing being is it was beaten by a 10 pm American Dad repeat on Adult Swim by 150,000 viewers. (same demo)
They need to put Big Bang as a lead-in, or something.

Re: American Dad! (Fox) -- Season 11 Thread
Well, I sucked it up and got the iTunes season pass of this season as it is unfortunately the only way for me to catch it. All in all, I got some good chuckles out of the first 7 episodes. There were none that truly stood out, but there were no clunkers either. Looking forward to the rest of the season.
