Just caught up with the finale on my tivo (OK, my DVR). Thought it was OK, but nothing too special. Loved Denny Crane's request to be "announced". He is too funny.

For those who missed it, I've liked my previous post about the future of the Practice (from the LA Times) here.

It sounds like Eugene will make the occasional guest appearence as the judge. I have no problem with that.

The show being proposed for Ellenor is a sitcom with her being a small-town teacher (ugh). I saw on Fox news today that several teachers across the country have been suspended for showing their students the download of Berg's beheading. I think somebody just slipped DEK the perfect pilot material for his sitcom...

BTW if Ellenor is going to be a teacher anyway, why not set up her disbarment in the finale? Certainly she should have faced some sort of repremand or punishment after decking the lovely Hannah Rose like that? And speaking of that, I find it hard to believe the most infuriating thing anyone has ever said to Ellenor is "I'd like to watch you watch me buying a $100,000 car".

I'm so glad I wasn't drinking anything when he said that...

Great, funny episode, obtuse personal politics aside.

I've only been watching this show for like 4 episodes but will certainly be following 'Fleet St.' with that cast - hopefully Rebecca DeMornay is also going to be on it.

Looking forward to the new series. Didn't give a rat's ass about any of the long-time characters except for Jimmy.
