It was also interesting that when Aceveda went in for the kiss on camera from his wife that she pulled away from him. The repurcussions from that event are long from over for him.

Did anyone else think Aceveda was going to have his way with the guy's girlfriend? For a second I thought that was going to be part of his revenge.

Not for a second. I thought for a second that maybe he would shoot him in the family jewels.

Anybody notice how Julian and Danny (especially) have taken a backseat this whole season? I mean, I'm sure you've noticed, but now they'll give Danny something like one line of dialogue an episode. Not that I'm complaining, mind you. There are plenty of hot storylines in The Shield, and only about 45 minutes of screen time to present them in. I'm glad we don't have too many plots to drag us down (*cough24cough*).

I will give you that but I still think that the feds will be able to put 2 and 2 together and figure out that the guy who found the marked money had nothing to do with robbing the money train and that their marked money list has been compromised.

It doesn't matter as the marked bills are all removed from the stash.

Regarding the marked and unmarked bills, I think the FBI is going to figure that guy spent the unmarked ones. Those would "disappear" once they were put into circulation, so they might assume he spent a lot more than just the bills the Strike Team left for him. I don't think they'll believe him at all if he says he just found the box; or maybe they will and that will be a big problem for everyone in episodes to come.

My thought was the Treasury would think whomever stole the Armenian's money had pawned off the marked bills on this patsy, thereby throwing them off the Strike Team's case. The Treasury doesn't have to believe the patsy stole all the money, they just have to get off Vic's tail.

How would the people who stole the Armenian's money know that they had marked bills and which one's were marked? If the feds figure out that their list of marked bills was compromised they will be looking for someone on the inside.

Once this happens it will could easily lead to the them asking questions about when the locksmith had to open the safe. And that could lead them to Vic.

Yes, Im sure the I Found It story would get a lot of consideration by the feds.

In most cases I agree the "I found it story" would not fly. But think about it. How does a guy end up with a bag full of cash made up only of marked bills that was mixed in with hundreds of thousands of dollars? The feds won't be able to find any of the other money. There won't be any evidence that this guy had anything to do with robbing money train. Things just simply will not add up to them and they will have to consider the guy's story.

IMHO the feds will realize that the people who hit the money train found out about the marked money and used this guy to throw them off the trail.

My favorite part last night was by far Dutch after they arrested the rapist.

"Don't touch anything until the CSI geeks get here."

I was rolling. Did anyone else catch this obvious jab?

I see the problem. You are under the impression that Aceveda had the only copy of the list. Not so. The list was in several persons hands. Not only that, the guy they tagged the stolen cash with has brothers in Indio, where the marked bills were spent. This will be a dead storyline soon.

Sure Vic and the strike team will be free to go spend their money. That is harder for me to believe than the feds buying the "I found it" story. This story line is not over yet.

I understand that Aceveda wasn't the only person with the list. However if the feds do come to the conclusion that the list has been compromised they will be around asking questions. Vic hasn't seen the last of them IMHO.

There is also the problem with Shane's GF and mother that can bring the feds back to Vic.

kerry, certain aspects I think you maybe on the right path , but just becuase he has a bag full of marked bills does not mean (in the treasury's eyes) that he did not have other unmarked money, they only have the serial numbers for the marked bills, also they said they marked 50k in bills, if they put 30k for this guy to find, 7k to Indio, and how much did the bizlats get( I thought they had 20k) obicously not all of it was marked bills, but who knows the ratio to marked bills to unmarked, maybe VIc did put some unmarked bills in the Irish guys bag

Could someone fill me in on what happened from the time Dutch put the cuffs on the rape-perp, to where Mackey is talking to Ass-Invedah?

Stupid Bow-Flex ad.

They have no intention to spend the money for a long, long time. I think the storyline is not going to be a main plotline, perhaps I shouldn't have said dead.

This was a great episode. Acevada's revenge was well-planned. Instead of just killing the guy, he is going to make him and everyone around him suffer. Killing the only witness prevents his story from being very believable. I wonder if the other guy sent the picture to anybody else - he was probably smarter since it was his phone.

Same thing happened for me. It cut in right after the "that's a sick lie" line.

Was everyone that saw the Bow Flex ad watching it on DirectTV? Did anyone watching it elsewhere see it?

I saw part of next weeks show
Spoiler:
I think the writers need to take the term "We've got to make this right" out of the show's vocab for at least one season.
