While I enjoyed this episode, especially Amy Acker having a blast with playing a powerful character chewing up the scenery, I did get that time-travelling Ghostbusters feel to the overall episode. Still, fun to watch.

Also, nice to see Boreanaz to get his wife Jamie Bergman some work (as the pregnant lady). She's got really big...teeth.

I got a little bored with the who time unraveling bit towards the end, but all in all, an excellent episode. I think there's enough great stuff going on this season to last another dozen episodes. I can't see how they're gonna fit everything into 120 minutes of screen time.

I really like this episode. Together tonight's Smallville and Angel episodes are very entertaining.

So what happen with Illyria now? Will the weakened Illyria let some part of Fred's soul to come back?

Doubtful, but hey there are only 4 more episodes left so ANYTHING can happen. I have always enjoyed this show even when it "sucked" its sad to see this show end but Im sure something great will come of this.

I loved the opening with Illyria coming to Gunns' rescue.

Amy Acker has really done a great job going from Fred to Illyria. Her scenes with Wes and Spike have been fun to watch.

Next week looks great too.

I enjoyed this episode very much. Great use of all the characters.

Glad to see Gunn back.

Is this evil Angel/us? or is he getting down & dirty in order to take out Wolfram&Hart?

Really anxious to see how this plays out.

I think he's just taking Ilyria's advice to heart.

Really good ep. So, with three more eps left, things are going to pick up and end with a bang. James Marsters was on Sharon Osborne show, yesterday, and said the things the writers were planning could have lasted another 5 years! But since they are ending, he thought the writers did an amazing job wrapping things up.

Next weeks could really be a blast or a bomb, depending
Spoiler:
how they handle Buffy (or lack thereof).

Till next week....

I'll say what I have said the past couple of Angel episodes. I just have a thing for that blue hair.

I really enjoyed this episode, and Wesley going crazy was pretty funny.

Sorry. I don't mind watching the previews-it gets me pumped up for next week's eps. But others due-I'm sorry.

It sounds like that September Tv movie is a hoax. Buffy.nu article today said someone mentioned to Mercedes McNab about the Sept. Tv movie and she said noone told the cast yet or negoiated contracts yet. Someone mentioned also it could be a way for the WB to keep viewers on their channel. Major thumbs down for the WB, if this is a hoax.

I'm not sure how I felt about this episode. I did enjoy much of it, but the whole story seemed to be constructed just to drain Illyria of a little power, because otherwise Angel and team could just have her take care of everything (including the Apocalypse) since she WAS pretty much omnipotent. I mean, look at the way she just strolled into that other dimension and took Gunn back like she was going to the grocery store picking up a carton of milk. It felt like a bit of a cop-out to just take away her powers like that.

One problem I had with this episode was that if a human body wasn't going to be able to hold Illyria's power, why did her followers go to all the trouble to get it into Fred? They've had all this time and presumably, a good amount of resources, you'd think that they'd have looked into what would have happened once she was forced into a human body.

Well, if it has never been done before how would they know until they have done it? It's not like they have practice gods to try it with.

Amy Acker does such a great job playing Illyria and making her different than Fred that I have to keep reminding myself it's the same person! This was a great episode as I'm a sucker for time-bending storylines.

Fred was only supposed to be a temporary vessel until Illyria could get back to her temple where she would restore all of her full powers. However, W&H destroyed the temple so Illyria was stuck inhabiting Fred... same sort of thing happened with Cordy in S3 when the visions were destroying her because the demon part was not containable by her human shell.
