CSI: Miami (3/29) -- Deadline
A newspaper reporter accompanies a city councilman's aide to a drug-infested part of Miami known as the "Golden Triangle" to get information for a story and the aide is gunned down inside an abandoned building. Horatio focuses his investigation on the reporter, who was suspiciously unharmed during the attack. Later, another writer from the same paper is found shot to death inside the trunk of her car, which was reported stolen.
One case. Nice pacing. But too much 'H'... guess they had to make up for the other eps.
That arogant newpaper writer had me hating him from the start.
I still think that Speedle is the only redeeming actor on the show... send him to NYC and can Miami.

I'd agree this was an excellent episode one of my favourites of the season. And as discussed last week Speedle is wonderful.
I read in a Vancouver paper that the casting for CSI NY is well underway and they are looking for an actor in a wheelchair for one of the roles.
That's the article

"David and I have put our heads together to have a [forensic] guru be an actor in a wheelchair," Zuiker says. "This person will have an important role in CSI: New York. This show is going to really break new ground in television. . . ."David Hall's been trying to [gain acceptance for the disabled in film and TV] for 30 years. All that work has paid off because I'm going to be the one to push it through with his assistance. This character is as important to me as casting the lead actor, on an emotional level. He'll be a genius in a wheelchair."

Daryl Mitchell is wheelchair bound. He had a motorcycle accident in 2001 that left him paralyzed from the waist down.
I loved him in Galaxy Quest and 10 Things I Hate About You...
I think he would good for the role.

I remember him from the John Larroquette show.

Daryl was on "Ed" this past season.
I totally forgot to watch this episode in HDTV last night. I guess I just wasn't too jazzed about this season, and it slipped my mind...which is saying something because I love my HDTV!
