Any who - I've loved all 3 eps so far, and really hope we get a chance to see all 13.
That deadpan priest was killing me...
Here's a question for you to ponder:
My wife asked last night if I thought Jaye was attractive, to which I said most certainly that she was very cute.
Both my wife and our 12 yr old daughter think she's a little "hard" looking, but I explained that was part of the appeal for me.
So, does Jaye give you the hot?

In one of the promo spots where she's in a mono-chromatic tones, she looks very appealing, but in other scenes, she's is a little serious/scowly looking, but she's still laconically funny in those scenes.

but I still thought it was better than 98% of the rest of television.
I really enjoyed this episode. The priest was great. I did miss Jaye in the gift shop though, she seems to have her best bits there. The stand alone nature of the show is smart to start. Get a nice loyal following, which they seem to be doing, before bringing out the "meat" of the show. Though I really can't imagine what an "arc" on this show would be like.
There is really no "good" timeslot for this show. No matter where you put it, it's going to be going up against some show or another. A pairing with Tru Calling seems logical, but I wish they would throw it on after a few eps of American Idol to give the show more exposure.
Also the theme is PURE evil. EVIL!!!! I wonder wonder wonder why this damn song won't get out of my brain!

FOX Makes 'Wonderfalls' Move Temporarily Permanent
(Wednesday, March 31 08:31 AM)
LOS ANGELES (Zap2it.com) - The results for FOX's one-time Thursday April Fool's "Wonderfalls" audition aren't in, but the move has already become permanent, or at least as permanent as anything can be in FOX's oft-shifting schedule. Starting this Thursday, April 1, the critically adored dramedy will air at 9 p.m. ET and the schedule-hopping reality series "Forever Eden" will take up permanent residence at 9 p.m. on Friday.
The move sets up a block of underperforming, but intriguing freshman dramas on Thursdays and a block of underperforming reality shows on Friday.
In its three Friday night airings, "Wonderfalls" averaged a dismal 3.76 million viewers. It moves to Thursday to join the Eliza Dushku series "Tru Calling," which has averaged 4.46 million viewers per night in its first season. That drama got a boost last week from guest star Jason Priestley, pulling in 5.33 million viewers.
That leaves Fridays anchored by "Playing it Straight." The gaydar-friendly reality entry has averaged 3.94 million viewers, with its audience dipping below the viewership for "Wonderfalls" for the first time last week. There are also rumors that FOX is ready to pull the plug on the series until this summer.
For now, it will now be paired with "Forever Eden." Originally designed as a reality show without an end, the "Paradise Hotel" permutation lured in 6.52 million viewers in its Monday airings (including at least one with an "American Idol" lead-in) and 3.62 million in its lone Thursday airing.

Wonderfalls will match up nicely w/ Tru Calling, imo.
