Janet Jackson's hosting SNL
from TVGuide.com:
SNL STAR POWER: Making her first post-Boobygate TV appearance, Janet Jackson will host Saturday Night Live on April 10. Actually, she'll be both host and musical guest. Just to be safe, rumor has it NBC may air the show with a 67-week delay. In related news, Ben Affleck hosts SNL for the second time on March 13.

I remember seeing some show on VH1 and she was talking about being the musical guest on SNL in 1993. She said they asked her to be in just one skit, but she said was just "too nervous". I guess she's not nervous anymore. Then again, she's always seemed shy in interviews, and then buck wild and nasty (
) on stage. It should be interesting.

This could possibly go down as one of the worst shows of the season. JJ has never struck me as an outgoing person, other than singing of course. She'll be sqeaking & whispering her lines with no emotion. That whole family is cocked in the head.

I wonder if Affleck will do any J-Lo jokes/skits next week. I'm sure they'll pitch some ideas. He seems like an easy-going guy, but then again he could say a flat-out "hell no" to anything Bennifer related. I doubt it, though.

This is one show I don't want to see. I have no complaints about her wanting to flash. I have a complaint about the amount of shit this has caused in the industry where others are getting sit about it.

Remember Janet was on Different Strokes, Good Times and a movie called Poetic Justice. She was always a better actress than a singer. If she ends up sucking on SNL, I was never here...

Believe it or not there has been serious talk about a time delay:
from the imdb
from the imdb
Will Jackson's 'SNL' Appearance Be Time-Delayed?
NBC confirmed Thursday that Janet Jackson will make her first appearance since her notorious Super Bowl caper on NBC's Saturday Night Live on April 10. Asked by Reuters whether the show would be carried by tape delay (Saturday Night Live Five Seconds Ago?), a spokesman for the television show said that he knew of no such plans. Jackson's appearance is time to coincide with the release of her new CD, Damita Jo.

well it's pretty obvious they are gonna do a boob skit or maybe have her fake expose something during the monologue or one of the guys in the cast will fake expose a boob or be wearing a nipple ring like that. *yawn*
