Well, the make-up budget for Angel is either for him to vamp, or get facial cuts...

The one part that really gave me deja vu was Angel getting thrown out the window. Didn't the big horn guy throw Angel off of a rooftop? It just seemed like certain elements of the storyline they were recycling. Makes me wonder what they had planned for last season before CC got pregnant.

The Beast also threw Connor outside a tall building window in Season 4.

You know, Angel walks around in a lot of episodes. And wears a trenchcoat.

Seems like the writers are REALLY struggling with original ideas these days.

I thought he wore a leather carcoat.

I only mentioned it because it gave me a feeling of deja vu the way it was shot, and the way he looked when he hit the ground. Obviously there are a limited number of things you can do in a fight, and I'm not saying they copied it exactly, but it just looked very reminiscent. Also how many stories up was he? I know vampires are pretty tough, but after a certain amount of levels you think the impact would splatter him on the pavement.

I'd be more annoyed if they hadn't mentioned her.
Yeah, you're right. But, I still kept waiting for Willow to show up, especially after they told us she wasn't available.

And I thought Ripper could have made a nice addition to the fight, but then he threw that whole Wolfram & Hart thing back in Angel's face.

Off the top of my head, I remember him vamping out when he was interrogating the W&H scientist in the werewolf ep, while fighting Spike in Destiny, and (possibly) during the fight with the W&H team in the first ep of the season.

I too thought Willow would make a show in this ep. I read an interview at thewb.com they did with Alexis Denisof last year, and he mentioned that they were toying with having his wife do a spot.

Wow, Fred was HOT with the poofed out blue hair and steel gray eyes. Plus, MUCH more attractive with the lower boomy voice.
