BTW Harmony was looking delicious last night. She usually doesn't do it for me but damn!

I totally thought fred would be back at the end of this ep, looks like they aren't taking the cop-out (at least not yet) and thats really cool. I really want to know whats going to happen next. Maybe they should film all the eps and run them back to back to back...to...back. ARG! I'm so impatient.

The question is whether or not Wesley will tell the rest of the group that he is harboring Illyia. I could see Wes hiding the fact that he is training Illyia to act more human, while the rest of the group hunts her down.

So ... does killing Knox mean that Wes will have some repercussions down the line waiting for him?

Hmm... I was thinking more of Ann Wilson of Heart circa Bad Animals.

Now they have TWO actors to apply extensive make-up to every episode - though Lorne is hardly in more than one scene ever this season.

Hmm... dunno where this is going with only 6 episodes left. I'm really going to miss this show.

April 14th is the next new episode.

Liked when Gunn described Illyria pulling a "Barry Allen" during her time-shifting escape.

But Fox reaches far more markets than the WB. If Fox ever does get Angel, it'll have an automatic ratings boost just because it'll reach more homes - not to mention that the dvds are very good sellers for Fox - those alone could cover the cost of the show.

Another good episode! Dark Wes is my favorite man its funny going back to season 3 of Buffy and watching this character evolve. Apparently Illyria is not the bid bad as even Spike commented that both him and angel could feel something big coming. I agree Spike does feel out of place, but i guess that just takes getting used to. Its ashame Angel is getting cancelled damn you WB!

First I have to agree with spainlinx0 that Amy Acker looks great with the blue hair. And I find her new way of speaking highly preferable to the typical Buffyverse ditsy-woman-talk. [jeffthedrunk]Nice![/jeffthedrunk]

I think Wesley is up to something. He was so furious about Fred's death that he stabbed Gunn. Gunn! So for him to take Illyria under his wing and help her seems preposterous. I think Wesley wants revenge. At least I hope he does.

I said last week that my impression of that episode rested on how this episode was handled. I loved this episode. A complete surprise, considering I was expecting another Buffy season 2 or 6 or Angel season 4. Turned the concept on its head.

Really looking forward to where the show takes Illyria's character.

I don't know why everyone is so surprised that Welsey is acting like such a bad ass. He is, after all, a Rogue demon Hunter....

What was up with this episode? Lorne just says he should have known and runs out of the room. We don't see him again until the end of the episode. That was so lame. Why not actually use this wonderful character?!

And then they tease us with the Willow mention...

Am I'm the only one who is wondering about what was under Knox's skin? He said it was so Illyria could find him and he was to be her transition into the current time but when he was shot it was still in his body. I think it will be found with an ortopsy (spelling?). I think Les is too manic to give in so easy, he's just waiting to find out how to kill the thing or find a way to get Fred back. Who knows, Fred's memories may take over Illyria.

While in the real world that is a tease, in the ME world it makes sense to mention her. She's the most powerful witch they know.

I'd be more annoyed if they hadn't mentioned her.

For those who don't know, Barry Allen is 'the FLASH'. The second one.

Jay Garrick was the first Flash, and Wally West is the current Flash.

The billions of years she spent away might have had something to do with it, I think.

I would have to agree we have had an overall story arc this season: how Wolfram & Hart has slowly corrupted the group.

However, I hate how this show has messed with the female characters. Cordelia was the strong, moral female center. That was sorta passed onto Fred. Now, we don't really have either.
I think that is sort of the point? Would a moral centre really fit with the team as it exists now?

I loved this episode, not only did it not cop out, but it went somewhere most shows would never dream of going. I'm actually hoping that Wes isn't harboring Illyria just to figure out a way to kill it... it would be much more interesting if he was actually going to help her or do something totally different.

What's interesting is that with Fred being long gone and Illyria obviously not her, the heroes lins-up of this show will be all male. While I don't see any real problems, I hope viewers don't accuse it of becoming a large testosterone fest.
This is an interesting direction since the series that spawned this one was about a woman.

Great episode! I know there were many fans complaining about yet another "main character possessed by evil" storyline, but the twist ending was great in taking this storyline in a new direction.

The only minor problem I had with the episode was that neither Angel or Spike vamped out. They should have had their vampire faces when they fought Illyria.

When was the last time Angel vamped out (besides the puppet episode)?
