Anyone have any news when Cartoon Netowrk will begin ariing new episodes? After "The unstoppable Demon within"/"The Demon within" - next one = Ryosuke - Father's old enemy.

Thanks in advance.

Say, I just started catching this show lately, and I have a question:

What the hell is going on? Is there a point to this? It seems like ever episode is just a group of people wandering around the countryside until they find a bad guy to fight. Are these people actually going anywhere?

The basic storyline is that they're trying to gather up all the shards of the standard crystal-of-incredible-power before the evil guys get it. Inuyasha, being half demon and half human, wants the crystal so that he can become a full demon (or full human). He's bound to Kagome, who is from modern-day Japan but came to this other world and bears a striking resemblance to Inuyasha's old flame and the guardian of the crystal, so it's her responsibility to gather them up. Unfortunately, each shard makes the demons or humans who grab hold of them more powerful and evil...

That's the basic premise, so that's why they're constantly wandering about. It's basically a way for the manga author Rumiko Takahashi to tell different "horror" stories, with an underlying theme. This is standard fare, especially for television: see X-files, Star Trek, etc.
