Tru calling picked up for season two?

http://www.buffy-vs-angel.com/news/n...t_from=&ucat=&

I haven't seen this show, I think its great to see Eliza Dusku on tv still, but I'm not if this show is great enough for her, as appose to a Faith spin off, so I'm not sure to celebrate or not if this is picked up for season two, as many expected it wouldn't be, it's still to be confirmed of cource, it was a insider's source.

From what ive read, its doing pretty bad...I would be pretty surprised if it was picked up..even if, it won't be announced till more towards April im guessing.

Still, I hope it gets canceled just so we have a shot of a Faith Spinoff....one can dream....

The fact the story calls it a "huge hit" makes me question the story.

I hope it comes back but this is Fox we're talking about.

I actually got irate watching ABC during the last aired episodes of Karen Sisco because of the little thing at the bottom of the screen that kept saying "New Drama Hit - Karen Sisco". ABC

It looks like the "reunion" episode 2 weeks ago was the highest rating ever, but last week it got trounced by SmackDown (again).

Well, look at its timeslot. If it's doing anything at all it's doing well.

Anyway, I like the show a lot and its quality has improved greatly as the season has gone along. I hope the news is true.

Fox gave Jessica Alba a two season shot... why shouldn't Eliza get the same?

I gave up after 7-8 episodes of TC. I am Eliza's number one fan and I recognize crap when I see it. I wouldn't be surprised if they pick it up though.

However, Angel and Karen Sisco get cancelled. I hate network executives.

I almost gave up too but I'm glad I didn't. It's actually gotten much better over the the last month or so.

Let's hope TC continue to improve in quality and gather more viewers so we get 2nd season. This is one of the shows I never miss.

Ditto. And Charmed is renewed for another season. HOW????

I said over in the Angel thread that Fox should replace Tru Calling with Angel next season. That way, Joss could talk Eliza back onto a Buffyverse show... huh? huh?

I believe Charmed is one of WB's highest-rated shows. It is a fun show to watch IMO.

Same goes for Tru Calling. As for ratings, keep in mind that it faces still competition in that timeslot (2 top-10 shows). It definitely has been getting better.

That IS a tough timeslot. This show will probably continue. As I have mentioned previously a new story arc is about to begin:

Spoiler:
From TVTome: "Priestley will play Jack Harper, a new forensics attendant at the morgue where Tru Davies works. Although he seems like a nice guy, he has a secret that may hinder Tru's ability to go backwards in time to save people who die unjustly." His appearance is a 7 episode story arc.
