'Dont know if they'll get away with Selleck in a new CSI. I agree that the Tigers cap should be mandatory for anything he does these days and I just can't see it fitting into CSI....but what the hell, bring back the P.I.

Looks like Sinise is a lock.
LOS ANGELES, California (Hollywood Reporter) -- After weeks of on-again, off-again talks, Gary Sinise has signed on to star in CBS' "CSI: New York," his first foray into series television.
Sinise will play a crime-scene investigator who leads a team of crime scene investigators in the Big Apple.
Sources said the Emmy-winning actor will be paid $120,000-$150,000 per episode. (By contrast, Ray Romano is reportedly the highest-paid TV actor, earning between $1.7 million and $2 million for each episode of CBS' "Everybody Loves Raymond.")...

Finally a reason to turn the tube back on, Tom Sellck. To bad its another CSI, 3 shows, only so much can be written to keep it interesting. I also agree, enough with NY, lets have C.S.I. N.O. our gators and swamps are much tougher than Miami's.

I like Sinise, but I'll reserve judgment until I see the show itself. I thought I'd follow Caruso to whatever show he went to, but csi miami is crap. Must say that I'd love to see Selleck as magnum again - watched every episode growing up. And I am also glad to hear that Noth isn't doing the csi spinoff, as was rumored, since I want him to come back to L&O now that briscoe is leaving.

Why must they have the same cast of supporting characters like the other shows??..
I'm sure William Peterson must be really pissed now. Didn't he throw a fit when CSI Miami came out
