Why do you devote your trophy to JOHN KERRY?!

shaun3000 02-08-04 09:36 PM

I think it's because John Kerry isn't George Bush.

Joeboo835 02-08-04 09:36 PM

wait, aren't they from England? get out of our country.

Who cares what he said. Best. Band. On. Earth.

ChefWinduAZ 02-08-04 09:38 PM

Isn't the lead singer of Coldplay an American citizen now that he married Gwenyth?

Tarnower 02-08-04 09:38 PM

That song "Clocks" by Coldplay sounds a lot like U2 to me. Not sure about the rest of their music, cuz I'm not familiar.

B.A. 02-08-04 09:39 PM

Only track that I can accept beating Andre 3000's "Hey Ya", too.

RichC2 02-08-04 09:39 PM

Clocks is almost a good song, but damn do the lyrics get on my nerves.

It's not like they hand out citizenships right after marriage.

It's a process.

Why, are they anti-American? Considering the lead singer's political statements I've been reading about, it wouldn't be surprising.

auto 02-08-04 09:42 PM

nope, just kind of silly if you really listen to them.

and I like the song!

You can be anti-Bush and not be anti-American, right? Or should I start packing???

Tarnower 02-08-04 09:42 PM

Sarah McLachlan looks good. I loved her last two CDs, but her new one is just so hard to get into. At least for me it is. I was looking forward to it so much, but have been very let down. It seems so hookless and tuneless. Anyone else feel that way? Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm??????????

DGibFen 02-08-04 09:43 PM

Is it just me or is Sarah really overdoing it?

B.A. 02-08-04 09:43 PM

I still love her voice.

mikewendt 02-08-04 09:43 PM

They really should have put the slow stuf at the begining of the show. They're nice and all, but it's making me tired... Bring the FUNK back on!

Naw. They just, basically, irritate me.

Good music, bad lyrics :D

Alvis 02-08-04 09:44 PM

It was cool of Coldplay to mention Johnny Cash and then nullify it with the John Kerry comment. :(

Yes, you can.

Please, don't pack - stay and continue to speak your mind.
