I record one of those - The Apprentice, but I do it on the reruns on CNBC so I wonder if it counts?

5 Obnoxious Fiance Fox 16.4%

7 Scrubs NBC 12.1%

8 Friends NBC 12.0%

That's it for me.

Does this still apply to those of us that have Ultimate TV's instead of Tivo's?

Out of that list only The O.C. and Friends

I recorded 0 of those.

In fact, I can say that I have never seen any of those shows.

But, my computer has a date to capture some Farscape tonight.

Ugh. I thought Tivo owners would have better taste.

Nope, "reality" TV wins again.

Scrubs, Alias and Friends are the only ones I record.

That's why you can be sure to see more product placement in shows like American Idol. I can't imagine how much Coca-Cola paid just to put those Coke glasses on the judges' table. That's definitely better than a 30 second commercial.

Now what this DOESN'T take into account is the popularity of shows available on HDTV. I know plenty of TiVo owners who would rather be chained to their TV during a specific time and watch shows in HD via OTA than TiVo them.

I would think that Alias would be one of them, yet is still makes this top 10. Not bad for a show that consistently comes in 3-4 in it's own time slot.

Nobody should be proud that they don't watch any of those. Scrubs is the best show on TV right now and you should be ashamed for not watching it. Ok, that's an exaggeration, but still, everybody should give Scrubs more than one chance. I didn't like it at first, but now love it. Don't forget it moves to Tuesdays next week.

As for me, I watch all of those except W&G. I'm back and forth on AI and The Apprentice. I can't decide if I want to keep watching these or not.

This list is so much better than the Nielson list. I watch a lot of TV and there's many times where I only watch 1 show in the top 20.

Oh wait, I just thought of something. This list could actually hurt these shows. Doing well on Tivo isn't really a good thing because people skip the commercials on Tivo. So, theoretically, doing well on this list could make these shows look worse to advertisers.

That’s probably the most ridiculous thing I’ve read since my last post.

I can be proud of whatever I want. The fact that my tastes are my own, I’ll be proud of if I see fit, and see absolutely nothing to be ashamed of. (Except maybe for that girl I dated in 8th grade, but that’s another story.)

If someone doesn’t like what I watch or DON’T watch, they have an open invitation to kiss me right between the alabaster cheeks.

Haha, I was basically kidding, but I was surprised to see people say they were proud to not watch any of the top 10 shows here when they're of such higher quality than what's really the 10 most popular shows in the country.

I guess I was just really happy to see the best show on TV (Scrubs), the best guilty pleasure (MBFOF), the biggest surprise this season (the OC), and a show which I used to love (Alias) all on the top 10. I'm so tired of seeing the mediocrity of CSI, L&O, ER, and 60 Minutes and their spin-offs and reruns in the top 20 every week.
