Favorite TV president
this was in the USA Weekend and I thought I would make a poll here. Here is a chance for 24 fans to be heard. Email your vote in.
I have to take issue with your assertion that "The West Wing"'s Martin Sheen is America's favorite TV president. My guess is Sheen would lose in a landslide to Dennis Haysbert's David Palmer on 24.

Perhaps so. What do readers think: Sheen or Haysbert? E-mail us your vote at [email protected], and tell us why.

Actually, John Goodman proved to be a better President than Sheen on The West Wing!

What about that show on Comeday Central about GW and family? Damn, forgot the name.
I like Darrell Hammond as Clinton more though.

I'm betting they eventually go back and do something between the 3 year break between season 2 and 3 with Jack undercover. Plus it gives them Palmer for another season w/o doing another election so soon.

OK, in truth I don't watch The West Wing. I watched the first two or three programs of the series and did not like it at all (I have such a strong distaste for the political process that I often cannot bear to watch that sort of thing, no matter how well done). As for the "sucks" it was more intended to be a facetious reaction to Venusian's Palmer suckisms.

...the often stated it was the democratic primary...if i'm not mistaken.
also, his opponent in the debate was a republican

Palmer's a Democrat. It was mentioned about 2/3 of the way through Season 1. I'm surprised Rupert Murdoch is ok with that considering 24 airs on his network.
