I don't understand the amount of Sandra-hating going on right now. I actually see what she did as smart. Christa is her only true ally and she can't have her gone next. Everyone's calling her a bitch simply because she's a girl and she's got a mouth on her. As for Jon, I just see those buck teeth, that stupid smirk, and than 90 yr old man's body and it just irritates me so much! I hated him from the beginning, and I hate him even more now. IMO what Sandra did with throwing out the fish cannot compare to what Jon lied about. Sandra even said she was in a 'bind' because she had to let Christa deal with the blame. What Jon did crossed a line. I also can't believe that he brought it up again at tribal council "My priorities have changed...blah blah..." You can tell that Probst doesn't believe him, bringing it up at Council saying, "and lo and behold, Jon's grandmother dies..." That made me chuckle a bit.

EW article re Survivor Dalton Ross
What an insane episode of ''Survivor.'' First we had Burton throwing out all the fish, Then Darrah lied to everyone about her grandmother dying, and then Lil won immunity! It was such madness, the whole thing, and I really don't think…. What's that? Sandra was the one who actually threw out the fish? Jon was the one who lied about his grandmother dying? And Lil didn't win immunity? Oh, are you sure? Hmmm, well, it seems that -- not unlike my man Jeff Probst -- I need a do-over!
A DO-OVER!!!! THEY ACTUALLY HAD A CHALLENGE DO-OVER!!! You know what, I should be all over Probst and company for incorrectly handing the bitchin' immunity sword over to Burton and then taking it back once they realized he had actually misspelled ''liaison.'' It was awkward and somewhat amateurish. But you know what? The easy thing for them to do would have been to ignore the mistake and just let the contestants keep on strutting back to camp. Who would've known? Instead, they copped to screwing up and figured out a fair solution.
Yes, it was still bizarre, and yes, it was a mistake you'd expect from Julie Chen rather than Jeff Probst, but truth be told, I'm not sure I could've deciphered half of that chalk handwriting myself.
So, let's move on to the other insane aspect of the evening -- Johnny Fairplay's lie that his grandmother had passed away. First off, that was some pretty lame acting on his part. It seemed so forced form the get go: ''Dude, how's grandma?'' Did any of the contestants, after 28 days, think this would really be the first thing to come out of his mouth upon encountering a buddy named ''Thunder D''? I mean, c'mon! I'm sure a lot of people think what he did was despicable. Personally, I just think it's a move with a risk that outweighs the reward.
DO you really think people are going to hand you a million dollars because your grandmother died? Hell, they voted out Tijuana on her freakin' birthday! And the risk of slipping up on your story and having someone find out is too great. If that happens -- you're gone. And how much were we all DYING for Probst to spill the beans to the other contestants at tribal council? At times, while asking questions like ''Did you get the information you wanted?'' it looked like he was going to do just that, but informing people of other players' lies would have been too serious a violation of the rules -- sorta like handing immunity to someone who hadn't actually won. (Sorry, Jeff. Couldn't resist.)
But who knows, maybe Jon's ruse is what convinced Sandra and Christa to side with him and not vote off Burton's ass. Even though it appears the two ladies may form a trio with Darrah, I still can't help but feel they would have been better served by breaking up the new Big 3 of Burton, Jon, and Lil. Of course, what the hell do I know?

I can't stand Jon, but that is one of the greatest strategic lies I've ever seen. Not only does it get him a little general sympathy, but he absolutely nailed it with his couple of lines in tribal council. The bit about how all of a sudden the game has changed for him. It forces the others into a defensive posture, because now if they think he's a snake, they have to deal with the guilt of the sympathy they might have for him.
Brilliant. Flippin' brilliant. If he hadn't been such a complete and utter jerk for the last few weeks, I might actually want him to win just for having serious cojones.
Can someone just shoot Lill? She's gonna cruise into the final four having done *nothing* to deserve it.

the only thing is i hope in the reunion show people get pissed at him - i want controversy.
but what will probably happen is that everyone will have found out a month earlier, was really pissed and by that time they are all over it and all friends again. something lame like that.
i hate lill (annoying). just vote her out already!

The one that is most annoying is Jon. I just can't stand him with that lying. But I guess he is entertaining to watch. I hope he doesn't win, so it doesn't send the wrong message to the viewers.

Man, I was hoping that someone overhead the little bastard when he admitted to lying about his Springer-watching grandma (no surprise there) dying. Or that somehow the word was leaked by Probst who apparently was left completely in the dark on that one. I would love to see the others just come down on that wimpy-looking freak.

Has any of those reunion things ever actually had people who had not gotten over what happened on the island? Everytime I've seen one it's all just "Oh, that was just a game! they played the game so well!"

Although she tried to admit that it was just a game, that girl from the original survivor never really got over what that hag Susan Hawke said about her. You remember the snake and rat line and the "if I saw you dying, I wouldn't help you" (paraphrasing) venow she spewed on her and Richard Hatch. Hatch deserved it.

I don't like Jon, but I do like him being on the show because he makes me laugh. Like a clown, there for my amusement.
I can't wait until he gets his. I actually wanna see him get to the final two, think he's going to win and that his 'master plan' worked, and then have all his hopes crushed. Sandra's smart. She may be bitchy but she knows what the hell is going on and she wasn't fooled one bit by Jon's lie. Voting out Tijuana was a good move on her part because T was the other most dominant female of the group. With T out, she's the Alpha and will sway the chicks' votes in her favor. Just watch...
As for them not voting out Burton, the only reason I could see him being around longer being to their advantage would be the fact that he's the one now who's catching some fish for them.

Ok here are my thoughts.
Burton is a big time Momma's boy. He's to into himself. Actually he turned on Rupert to soon. For he has a huge bulls eye on his back. He thinks he's smart. But I'm sure he will be kissing more ass now for he sure was $hitting bricks on the last vote. He should of waited a show or 2 to get rid of Rupert. I don't see an outcast winning unless they allow all people voted off since Andrew for another outcast challange to come back.
Jon he maybe be devious. But man his acting was poorish. The other survivors are so gullible. His eyes were giving it away. I know that if I were on survivor right now I'd get that fool liquored up. He loves to brag and boost and if he does get drunk and blabs he is done. Unless people continue to carry him to the end thinking they can win against him.
Lil the biggest waste of a survivor ever. She's whiny, hyprocritical, and if anything she's along for the ride until she becomes dispensable. There's no way she will win. I repeat no way. See continue to be a swing vote. But she surely will not win this. Up against anyone remaining and I wouldn't vote for her at all.
Darrah right now has no major alliance. For T is gone. So I don't think she is much of a threat. The other alliances will look to pick off Sandra/Christa or Burton/Jon or Burton/Jon/Lil or Burton Lil. If she's smart she'll work on Lil and hook up with Sandra/Krista. She is the least annoying and eye candy material.
Sandra say what you will. But I don't think she is a bitch. Unless of course your liking Jon and/or Burton. I think it was courageous for her to dump the fish. Its like Burton's reward meal where he back stabbed Rupert and gave it to Jon as to not allow Rupert to get stronger by eating. Right now Burton needs food more than any other member. Also if she did say she dumped the fish the members would of hired a Soprano hit man to take her out. Besides why should the people who turned on Rupert eat Rupert's fish. T did herself in by saying she wanted Christa out next. Remember keep your friends close and your enemies closer. It looks like Sandra maybe allowing Jon to think he's in with them again. Plus for Christa or Sandra to go far they needed to break up the Darrah/T alliance and Burton/Jon. Sandra overheard conversations with Burton and Jon so she knows Lil is just being used. If you saw next weeks episode it shows Lil questioning Burton's intentions/guarentees. Who knows Sandra may take Lil on a trip down memory lane to over hear Jon and Burton this time. Next show Christa and Sandra have to get rid of Jon or Burton or Lil. If not they are toast. I'm rooting for Sandra.
I felt bad about Krista. She was blamed for doing nothing wrong. But by Burton ripping on her and a few others they more or less lost her vote if and when she gets voted out.
Last but not least. Vote out a survivor don't mention who you want out next. To many times that backfires and it sure backfired on T. If T didn't talk to Jon and if she didn't mention wanting Christa out next then she'd still be in the game and Burton would be back home with mommy and in is house of mirrors. You gotta love how things twist on this show.

"She's dead dude." Fine, fine acting there.

I can't stand Darrah's voice. Every time she talks I think back to that Susan Smith woman (the one who drowned her kids in the lake and blamed carjackers.) We watched this show about her once and when her kids were missing she was saying to the media "Ay...duh not noe... where my chil-ren arrrr..." And we would always make fun of her voice and say "Halve eewe checked in the layyyke?"
