So far I like how the season's progressing. The slower buildup of tension might save us from the midseason dragdown this show has suffered from previously.

24 didn't do very well in the ratings this past week. It was consistently finishing second and sometimes third in its time slot last year...this past week it finished fourth...not a good sign.
Maybe they will kill off Jack, after all!

The first thing I thought when they revealed the mole was. Gee 2 years and 2 episodes and they are already recycling ideas? Where 'O where has the creativity gone.
I don't think they will kill Kim. If they did that Jack would NEVER step foot near CTU again. He would move to some far off country and become a Hermit if that happened.
I'm hoping they bring in Donald Sutherland at some point to play Jack's dad. I think that would be killer. Unless I missed a reference of him being dead somewhere along the line.

The whole Kim storyline slows things down. How stupid is the timing when she decides to tell Jack about her boinking his subordinate. I actually hope she gets killed off. (Jack would go vigilante) The doc is probably linked to a former terrorist or drug trafficker (ex-husband maybe) and i believe Chloe is working with the mole in CTU.

Don't forget that Chase, simply by the fact that he is Jack's partner, must be a badass with special forces background, etc. I hope the develop this aspect of him...
I still think that they should dedicate a season to Jack's experience before the events of Season 1 which they alluded to during the first season...
