Maybe it was explained in an earlier episode, but whey does Marshall have a drum kit in his office?
I thought it was a good ep, nice mix of moods. Mrs. Vaughn looked 100 times hotter than she ever had - she is definitely better as the "messy hair in my face" type than she is the "tight-ass ponytail" type. Also, kudos to the producers for only giving Sydney tops that end just short of her waist so her stomach gets exposed whenever she runs.
So Francie is now a fake AND a super-soldier? Whatever.
I'm assuming Sark & Allison trusted Sloane because they're still working for him. Does anyone really think he's working as a double agent?
While it can sometimes be lame, I applaud the writers for dispatching with some of these storylines so quickly. They had two subplots (Syd's murder and the Vaughns lying to each other) that could have easily been dragged out for months. Instead, it looks like both will be resolved in the span of 3 weeks. I like it.
Good to see there are at least 3 people in LA who enjoy hockey.
Also, I think it is beyond question that Weiss is a baddie.
Removed spoiler tags... please don't spoiler anything that's not an actual spoiler. Then people start reading every spoiler-tagged thing, and they get pissed off when they read something that actually is a spoiler. Speculation isn't spoiler. - Static

I was wondering why Sydney didn't tap a shot or two in Alison's head myself. It's not like the Bulgarians would have been too concerned w/ her being eliminated. She definitely needed a little bit of her alter-ego, Julia Thorne, pushing her to do it.

seems though last night episode addressed one major issue on this board:
Lauren, bushy eyebrows and all, is indeed sexy, as per her romp in sexy lingerie every girl wears to work at the office!

This was a good episode I thought. Good to see Dixon remembering his wife and keeping continuity. Good to see more wacky Marshall stuff. And I'm not going to complain about Sydney's running scenes or Lauren's underwear. And Sloane is great as usual, you always know he's making his own agenda.
So it looks like (spoiler for anyone who didnt see this episode):
Allison is a Highlander now? Gotta cut off her head or something to kill her.
Deleted spoiler tags. The show's already been aired, so it's not a spoiler. The thread is tagged with the date, so it's fair warning for people who don't want to get spoiled. - Static

"I want that bitch dead" go Dixon. Best line ever. Now all we need is for Dixon to go on a mission to assassinate Allison and it'll be all good. To answer your question hahn Allison was part of the testing program Will was reseraching for the CIA. She worked for Sloan who altered her to look like Francie. Allison killed Francie and when Will figured it out, that's when he got stabbed in the tummy but before he got gutted, Will left Syd a voicemail message explaining the situation hence the knock-down drag-out fight Allison and Syd had in the season finale. The CIA probably found out about the switch through Will (though they haven't gone into that) and that would hopefully explain the witness protection thing.
I got both Sark and Vaughn shirtless so that worked out well too

No Will isn't dead. My last sentence reads "that would hopefully explain the witness protection thing."
I define any stabbign in the stomach as being gutted so that might have lead to confusion. Sorry bout that.

I was thinking about this also, and the only thing I can think of is, she wasn't ready: she came to the club with a specific mission in mind (no indication that she knew beforehand that Syd would be there), and it would take more than just having Sark somewhere outside to be able to kidnap a CIA agent, maybe? Or, maybe she was just focused on the goal of getting the tooth, with orders to not be distracted. Or.... I don't know.... lots of random theories bouncing 'round my head...

jeezus..
do you guys need EVERYTHING spelled out for you..?
it's painfully obvious from Syd's dramatic reading of this line: "No, she did this. She did this." that the formula in the Rambaldi was responsible for imbuing Fran with gamma rays causing her to mutate into a 7 foot green hued Hulk of a creature responsible for tipping over the ambulance & disposing of the medical staff..
like, duh.

And she knows chip-in-tooth guy knows that people are after him. So maybe he'll take the fastest route possible away from the club, and maybe there's only one elevator. Or maybe she had a device that tracked the chip's RF. You could explain it away.

My big problem with this episode is similar to everyone else's problem: Sydney SHOULD HAVE shot Allison Dorn in the head. She rarely fails a mission (if ever) and why would they send her to the hospital instead of keeping her with them? I shouted "BULL SHIT!" at the TV at this point.
Also, Lauren was indeed supa-hot in her undies.
Dixon STILL annoys the crap outta me. Come on, he's the ops-director by default. Just a crappy way to keep him in the storyline. I've never liked his character.
I think it's getting a little far-fetched, too.
Finally, why is it assumed that Weiss is a "baddie"? Have I missed something important?

IMO, his character has just been conspicuously innocent, if that makes any sense.
And thanks for the pics up there
