Just a thought.
What if Vaughn's wife is in cahoots with Sloane? What if she's evil? She did help broker his deal, after all. And that would make it easy for Vaughn to leave her/kill her whatever and then reunite with Syd.
Hmm...

I'm hoping beyond hope that the increasingly annoying agent Weiss is going to turn out to be a baddie.

Finally watched this. Thoughts:
Why send Sydney incognito to spy on Sark when he knows what she looks like? Doesn't the CIA have other agents who wouldn't be in danger of being recognized? And if Sark and that dude were so worried about people seeing the pictures, why meet in a public place?
Now, why was Sydney at the meeting with Sloane? The CIA knows how much she hates the man, dothey really think it is wise to send her to a formal meeting like that? I certainly hope our own CIA has more agents than the one in Alias, because it seems like they 5 people doing everything.
I' m glad I'm not the only one bothered by Laren's eyebrows. Honey, look what plucking finally did for Jennifer Connelly--she won an Oscar. And why is she blonde but has dark brown eyebrows?
Word on the accent/senator from Virginia headscratch thing. When exactly was her dad a senator in Virginia? 1790?
If the actress can't handle an American accent, either cast some one else or write her a different backstory. I was kind of wondering why a US agent that high up would be a foreigner anyway.
I had to laugh at that bald dude in the end yelling "Sydney Bristow!" while he was about to get blown up. He might has well have been twirling his mustache.

[either that, or a Mexican bartender would've tried to put 'em back in a bottle of tequila...]
The color is part of the reason the bother me...would it really be that hard to dye the rest...? And if the eyebrows aren't the natural color...well, nevermind.

Too funny. Those monstrosities above her eyes drive my fiancee nuts as well as myself. If I actually met her it would be like meeting "The Mole" from Austin Powers Gold Member. I couldn't help but to stare.

I actually think this was a clue. He shouldn't have known who she was. By saying her name, I think the producers were letting us know that this guy is (was) connected to her 2 missing years.

not to mention he was still irked that she shot him in Mexico..
it's possible that he and Sark had a nice long talk on the way to Russia...

anyone else think that an explicit (but not x rated) sex scene between Marshall and Sydney will get the show back on track :=?
will attract those viewers into midget sex etc
otherwise i think the show is cool, it kinda makes sense but doesn't make sense, that's what it is supposed to do

Without knowing more about Vaughn's wife, it's hard to say if an Australian accent is out of character. Just because her dad is American doesn't mean her mom is, or that she grew up in America rather than Australia.

Melissa George grew up in my city, Perth
She came well known in Australia for her role in our top rating local soapie called Home and Away.
Then she left for the US and i guess is now doing ok for herself
She is a naturally very attractive lady
