DVD Talk Limited Edition
From what I understand, it's a men's/sports equivalent (rip-off) of Today/GMA/CBS' morning show. The first time I'm up that early after it premieres, I'll probably give it a try but I won't wake up early special for it.

Not that I like any of those teams/players you listed, but would you rather it be about the Brewers, Eddie Curry, Scott Polard and
Charles Howell III?
Charles Howell III?

Bullshit, its sort of like the chicken before the egg argument. The media sticks the Yankees down the throat of the American public on a daily basis when they are ACTUALLY talking to the New York metropolitan TV market (HUGE demos, HUGE ad dollars). This daily coverage causes the "on the fence fan" who doesnt have a home team to latch on to whatever hes able to follow easily. Another Yankee fan is born. Create the hype, then feed the hype. Sort of like a self fulfilling prophecy, you know?

I would agree if the Yankees weren't one of the best teams ever (and I am a Yankee hater).. Same with Lakers... They are talked about because they win and that draws interest..You don't hear much talk about the Clippers, Nets or Mets, but they are in the same markets as those other "big" teams

Let me be clear, Pittsburgh sucks. In every way, shape, and form. I could care even less about Philly. This isnt a pissing match about the Yankees. That being said, in Mantle's day, If you saw baseball game on TV, it was usually the Yankee game. Same story, different era.

You don't care about Philly and I don't care about them because they suck.. which is why they are not a big feature on ESPN.. If they were good they would be featured alot more .... like say the Lakers or the Yankees

All I know is that Jay Crawford (one of the hosts) has 2 different colored eyes. He's been doing local sports coverage in Tampa for about 2 years, and I can't say I am all that impressed with him.
