Yeah, but if all he did was pay the back taxes that means that Sam owns it and Coop is a partner. Right? Or did I miss something?

They are calling Sam the former owner, so maybe the casino was seized by the IRS and he bought it outright? Who knows.

Song?

Does Anyone know the name of the song at the end of "A Hero Ain't Nothing But A Sandwich," when Danny gets the postcard from Mary? The one of the house with the white picket fence.

I missed the postcard thing. What did it say? I might have ffed it. I thought that the episode was a bit uneven, and I am not sure about bringing Selleck in, but overall I liked it.

Can someone explain how Danny knew to look for Delinda in the laundry cart? My wife and I were both like, WTF?

He saw her cell phone and noticed it was right in front of the linen room where presumably there is a chute that emptys to the linen room on the floor he went down to.

While I think Cooper will do fine, I'm also going to miss Ed.

I'll also miss Mary's giant cleavage. Delinda and Sam are going to have to step it up, along with that cutie that's in the surveillance room with Mike.

I’m going to miss Ed as well.

I really don’t care about Nikki Cox leaving; I’ve always found Vanessa Marcil more attractive. That’s just my tastes though.

Ed will be missed, though I liked Tom Selleck a lot. Still a fun "no-brainer" show that I enjoy watching.

Did have two minor nitpicks, even though I REALLY try not to nitpick this show, since it's so easy. One, they say that the cell phone video of the shooting wasn't good enough to videoIQ anyone. 30 minutes later, they videoIQ the hooker in the car. Two, they specifically mention that Montecito employees can't gamble at the Montecito (when Sam is trying to get her whales to invest in the hotel). 15 minutes later, they show Montecito employees making all sorts of bets about Danny and Delinda's baby. Sloppy writing. Not a big deal, but both jumped out at me while watching.

the way i saw it, the cell phone video wasnt enough to video iq their database, but the live video at the bar could be compared to the cell phone video to make a match.

No Luck

I still can't find that song at the end of the episode "A Hero Ain't Nothing But A Sandwich" when Mary sends Danny a Picture of her house, anyone found anything?

as far as the bet, that was not a casino game, that was just the same as bunch of friends making side bets on things, like an office pool at work.

I'm glad they trimmed the cast down some more. Cox was as unnecessary as her character was annoying.

Selleck is a great replacement for Caan. I'm glad that they didn't replace Jimmy w/ the same kind of guy.

I love Molly Sims.

Did they actually trim the cast? I only watched the first hour of Vegas, as I decided that Ed's wave goodbye and Mary's picket fence postcard were the perfect ending to the series for me. I dislike Tom Selleck, and his introduction was just so bad that I didn't feel compelled to continue watching. But, I thought that Tom Selleck= James Cain and that a new actress would be arriving (presumably to fill Mary's place.) I can't figure out spoiler tags, so I won't comment further on that part.

I think it wouldn't have bothered me as much if they hadn't set up right outside the sports book so that it looked sort of "official".

Well, decided to watch "Las Vegas" tonight and it was a good episode. Nothing special but I'm glad that they seem to be done with the overly dramatic storylines, it was getting depressing late last year...

I thought this was a pretty good episode - Sam trying to be friends with everybody was funny.

I hope they didn't get rid of Mitch and Shannon, the hottie surveillance chick that was in the last few episodes.

It's also good to see Cooper relax the policy on girls 'working' the Montecito. WTF kind of restriction was that?
