Another good episode last night. This sure is one hour of entertaining TV week in and week out.

Hope they keep it up!

I just can't help myself, I like this show. Yes, I know it's not very realistic, but it is just damn fun to watch. I have never been to Vegas, and I think this show might be the best advertisement for saving up for a vacation there yet.

Another fun episode. James Caan is great. I definitely need to find that topless pancake house.

Yes, Molly Sims is hot, but DAMN, Vanessa Marcil is f'n GORGEOUS, especially in this episode.

I enjoy this show VERY MUCH. I've been to Vegas twice and have never heard of the topless pancake place. Gotta troll the vegas website for it!!!!!!

I don't know what to make of this show after 3 episodes.

The 2 main subplots:

Ed tries to keep his cousin Donnie from making a marital mistake and playing his guardian angel, while putting the screws on Marie, the con woman.

Danny figures out a guy is in town to buy a "hot" Ferrari, and goes undercover to put the guy down. Obviously, Danny, with his military training isn't as phased about gunfire directed his way, but what is Mike's background which also allows him to keep his wits and pursue as he's also being shot at by the Ferrari "dealer"?

Sam is relegated to hostess duty with not much else beside being eye candy.

Danny gets dumped by Delinda.

Where was Mary (Nikki Cox)? Did I blink twice and miss her?

Oh, next time in Vegas, I lam ooking for that particular pancake house...

You only had to blink once to miss her. She was only in the episode briefly to speak to Danny.

People, I don't think that particular pancake house exists.

When I was driving back from Florida to NJ I definitely drove by a topless breakfast place. I'm sure they have to be around somewhere.

WHAT???? Next you'll be telling me there is no Montecito Resort & Casino in Las Vegas. But I know it must be true -- it's on TV, for heaven's sake.

Lol; tell that to the posters in this thread who said "I'm definitely going there the next time I'm in Vegas" and so on...

Las Vegas 10/13/03

I thought this episode didn't have as many fun storylines going on, but I did enjoy seeing the mayor from Buffy. Funny character and I hope they keep him around.

Hey it's Danny Hanson's wife from Boston Public who I don't think has shown up on the show since the wedding.

This was probably the weakest ep since of the show so far.

It was pretty obvious Nessa was setting the prof up and the thing with the the psychic wasn't that interesting either.

Next week looks good though.

That's where she was from! I knew I recognized her, but couldn't place her.

Anyone notice that Timothy Busfield directed the episode?

Funny to see Elliot Gould play a cheater in a show about Vegas, when he did the very same thing in Ocean's 11.

I like the show, mostly b/c it's Vegas. There's alot of extraneous stuff like Molly Sims' subplots, that are stupid and could be eliminated. Show more about the security and cheating side. That's the good stuff.

This show was alright, probably the worst one so far. If anything - at least James Caan is getting more to do every week (or so it seems to me).

Next week does look sweet.

Good to see Ken Marino get some work (too bad he won't be making any more appearances on the show), as well as Danny Hanson's wife from Boston Public as well. Also, it was funny to see the Mayor from Buffy with a quasi German accent, but he was the funniest part of the episode.

Overall, a so-so episode, not all that great. Sam pretty much turned into matchmaker.

I liked that character. Hopefully we'll see more of him.

I can't wait for next week's episode. I've been wondering if they would 'borrow' the Ivy League cheaters storyline.

The show has it's up and downs, but I just love Vegas so I keep watching.

The beginning with zooming in and seeing through the guys glasses was a little much. Even an eye in the sky can't get that type of angle. And if they have that type of survelliance ability how come the $10Mil blackjack table only had some normal camera on it?

Dear Las Vegas "creative team":

Please stop the ultra-highspeed zoom in/out thingy, or at least reduce them to 2-3 per show. I don't need them to be used for every single scene wipe, and every time we need to view a monitor.

Thanks in advance!

Joe

Las Vegas has become the Love Boat in terms of guest stars.
