It will be interesting to see if they are really bluffing in regards to some cast change.
I enjoyed the season finale a lot and I'll be placing this show in my DVR for the coming fall season.
BTW, I enjoyed the Elway and Jon Bon Jovi bits. I thought it was funny.

So, Las Vegas has been officially renewed then? If so, that's good news. Quite a fun show to watch. (I hate to admit that I didn't really pay much attention to the network upfronts recently...guess I should have).

Those Bon Jovi/Elway scenes are a good play off their Arena Football ones.
Overall there was waaaay to much going on for a finale. Too many plot points. They should've kept it to Nessa's and maybe the selling of the Montecito.

I looked away for a minute and thought that the Montecito had been bombed with everyone inside. Watched the full episode the next day and was glad to see it wasn't the case.
Didn't like the Bon Jovi/Elway thing.
Didn't like the Nessa thing.
I wish they would make up their minds about Danny and Mary. After they broke up, they seemed to be fine without each other, and now it looks like they are both pining for each other again.
I hope that Dean Cain is not a regular next year, but I hope everyone else comes back.

Wow, lots of stuff happened in this finale. I thought the Bon Jovi/Elway stuff was okay. Good for a chuckle, anyway.
I'm FUCKING sick of the Mary/Danny thing. I don't like the "I love you/no I don't" type of storylines. It gets old. Either get together or move on already.
I was confused by Sam. She said that she couldn't work at the Montecito if her husband bought it. Then she quit. But we don't know that he is the one who bought it. Just seemed weird to me. It seemed like they had her quit just to add to the drama, and didn't tell us who bought it to add to the drama, but it ended up being kind of confusing.
Poor Montecito. I found it hard to believe that they could set it up to be blown up so quickly, but I do have to stretch my disbelief on this show anyway, so I tried not to let it bother me. Still, wasn't the grand opening of the M at the beginning of this show? Or was it supposed to be an "established" casino? Because if it was only two years old, having it blown up already is stretching my suspension of disbelief a little TOO far. No way any investors or owners are going to blow up a property that probably hasn't even starting making their money back yet.
I felt bad for Danny losing his father. Tough breaks for that guy. Seemed like they maybe tacked on a few too many storylines for one episode, but I did end up liking it.

Whether the Montecito was established or not, still makes no sense. The Montecito is portrayed as the equivalent of Bellagio, Venetian, and at worst, Mandalay Bay - a very modern upscale Vegas casino. Therefore, it stands to reason that it is less than 10 years old. Very unrealistic that it would be blown up (for something better) so soon.

I agree with both Reddog and Phil. I always thought this was suppose to be the equivilant of a high end casino and not an old hold over from the old days. It would make no sense to blow up any of the big casinos on the strip (IIRC all the old ones are gone), let alone a top tier one on the strip.

Where will the show pick up? Ed following Delinda and Nessa to London or will it be several years into the future (representing the construction of the new Montecito) with each of the characters established in new jobs/lives.

Did anyone else laugh as Mike "imagined" the rest of the hand-cuff story that Danny started to tell him?
Mike: "Oooo..... ohh..... uh-huh..... yeah...."
Danny: "Are you done yet?"
Mike: "No. Oh yeah... ouch... hummm."

I think the old guy in the wheelchair bought the Montecito. The make reference to the mystery buyer as some Howard Hughes type. Earlier in the episode, that wheelchaired guy tells a story about Hughes.

I really liked the opening scene, and loved the whole montage during Midnight Train at the end. The bulk of the episode wasn't all that interesting, but for the mindless fluff that this show is, they really know how to write a great scene to finish off a season. They are two for two in my book.

I don't think that Dean Cain won the bidding either, and wouldn't be surprised if it was the old guy. It would be great if it was him, and he died and willed it to Ed. I am getting sick of the constant owner storylines jumping up.

Red Dog - I don't see them waiting that long. I would be surprised if they didn't pick it up TOO long after we saw events happen. And maybe they didn't blow up the entire hotel. Dean Cain said something about blowing up part of it. Maybe they just blew up the lobby area, and not the tower(s). I would be fine with the old guy being the owner, but I'm sure then we would have to deal with another ownership plotline when he kicked the bucket during November sweeps, or something.

I don't see the old guy as buying the Montecito. According to the plot, he was just the oldest living LV resident. Where are his billions of dollars coming from to buy the casino and not have anybody knowing about it.

Loved it, fast paced, great finale!
What casino do they use for the show? When they pan past the other casinos on the strip and end up at the Montecito what is really there?

I don't think they use one. The exterior looks to be CGI. The interior shots (the casino floor, the surveillance room, etc) are a Hollywood set I would think.
The fictional location of the Montecito would appear to be the south end of the strip across from Mandalay Bay.
The pool area shots might come from a real casino - maybe Mandalay Bay.
