IMO, the last good episode of this show was the one where Alec Baldwin guest starred.

who cares? It's got BOOBS!
Seriously though, with a set like LV how can you really have a show with great plots? It's mindless fun, not unlike most of the other stuff on TV.

Last night I got very bored and just wanted the show to end. If they are running out of creative ideas in the first season, the show probably won't last past season number two which I think it will get based on momentum from the fun first half of this season.

I haven't seen it yet, but I just want to give a SHOUT OUT and a big eff-you to NBC for telling us that this show starts at 8:59, but still not ending Fear Factor until 9:00 (and a few seconds) just to create TiVo conflicts.

It was worse than that. I had to hit my 30-sec quick-skip 4 times to get to the start (LV started at 9:01). I stated several weeks ago that this NBC nonsense is all about screwing the DVR owners because their schedule is not at all accurate.

Thank goodness at the end of shows like this I only miss the preview of next week show. Otherwise I might miss the end of the "9:59" ending shows that might bleed over.
Though this probably REALLY pissed off people with Fear Factor SPs who don't pad, since my LV recording had actual FF content. I haven't checked to see how many people are bitching about that at the DVR forums.
[EDITED TO ADD: Looks like people ARE pissed about the FF thing.
Fear Factor cut off early!!! Who WON?? (though a badly named thread, since it's really FF that ran LATE) This was the final show of a seven week "Couples" tournament-type thingy]

Nicki Aycox looked much better on Ed as Stella Vecsey than she did tonight playing a stupid local from Vegas.
Alright ep - Ed's mom telling stories about her son was kind of funny.
Sean Astin didn't do to great a job. I don't know if it was over-acting or if he just can't act, but his story-line was just sort of blah.
They need to get the girls on the show as close to naked as possible. That would definitely help.

Better than the last four or five episodes (although still not as good as earlier in the season). Maybe they can get it back on track.

I totally didn't know that was Stella Vessey!! She was about 100X hotter on ED, too (in this I thought she was just some annoying girl).
Overall, okay episode. Definitely not the best, but better than the Mardi Gras episode.

They really played up the hobbit angle, using forced perspectives multiple times to make Sean seem even shorter than he already is. Especially when he played that huge slot machine.
A pretty good episode, though.

"Poor Binky."
Dang, I knew I'd seen that chick somewhere. Yeah, much hotter as Stella.
