My wife and I share very similar tastes in movies and tv. She doesn't like horror or war movies though -- because she's a chicken and she hates blood.

The only thing she watches that I'm not really into are bollywood movies and really chicky chick flix -- stuff like Steel Magnolias and Fried Green Tomatoes. ick! I can deal with romantic comedies... It's the boring melodramas I can't stand.

Personally, I like Trading Spaces and Emeril.
