What I'm wondering is what possessed the network execs to think "Hey, let's debut a show on a Wednesday that we are going to show normally on Thursdays". That seems STUPID! But I suppose it will give them some idea about how it will fair on it's own without the Friends lead-in.

Seriously does anyone else find themselves watching less TV in favor of DVDs (and in anticipation of DVD box sets later)?

Nice thread, I like the one-page format. I've made plans for my ReplayTV for almost every timeslot above.
Thanks for the formatting - it's easier to plan vs. missing Jake 2.0, which I did.

Can a mod make this a sticky, as has been requested a couple of times already? It was the best format that I found for it, which is why I posted it here...

If you're going to sticky it, you may want to complete it.
For example, Carnivale (9:35pm) and K Street (10:35pm) both begin tonight on HBO. Jeremiah returns October 10th at 10pm on Showtime.

Why did I think it was? Was there a rumor about it at some point that I just took as fact?

I added the SNL date, and moved King of Queens to its new date as well. I will leave the two HBO series off, since they have already debuted. But if there are any more changes, let me know and I will update them.
Thanks.
Thanks.

I read the same thing somewhere, maybe on zap2it or ew perhaps.
Anyway, here is tonight's premieres:
Wednesday, Sept. 24
8 p.m.: "My Wife and Kids" (ABC, one-hour premiere)
8 p.m.: "60 Minutes II" (CBS)
8 p.m.: "Ed" (NBC)
9 p.m.: "The Bachelor" (ABC, two-hour premiere)
9 p.m.: "The West Wing" (NBC)
10 p.m.: "The Brotherhood of Poland, N.H." (CBS)
10 p.m.: "Law & Order" (NBC)
A few great shows on again tonight. For some reason, I thought that the Brotherhood was a Fox show..

Big night of premiere's tonight:
Thursday, Sept. 25
8 p.m.: "Friends" (NBC, "super-sized" episode)
8:45 p.m.: "Will & Grace" (NBC, "super-sized" episode)
9 p.m.: "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation" (CBS)
9:30 p.m.: "Coupling" (NBC)
10 p.m.: "Without a Trace" (CBS)
10 p.m.: "ER" (NBC)
I am looking forward to Without A Trace the most, which I think is the best drama on TV now (along with Alias). I would love it if Scrubs would have debuted tonight as well, but NBC continues to try to do its best to ruin the show...

I love Thursdays. Light night for me.
Very much looking forward to Without a Trace, saw Coupling months ago, and can turn my brain off for the other stuff.
Great work on this thread, btw.

• Quoth abintra •
How good is American Dreams? I haven't seen an episode before and am trying to pick two from the 8PM shows.

"I am your training officer!!!" Putting aside that 10-8 aka 10-8: Officers on Duty aka I am Your TRAINING Officer!!! looks like crap on a stick, American Dreams was very good last season, surprisingly good in fact. I haven't gotten around to watching the Cold Case pilot yet, so I can't really recommend against it.
I'll be watching all three.
