I have no problem discussing it with you in a thread dedicated about prostitution, but not in this thread.

I think your feminine side is starting to show! How sensitive.

sums it up for me. i really don't like rogan. i had no idea who stanhope was but i liked him. i was thinking they should axe rogan and replace him with the actor who played the magic negro. i thinking have a black and white guy could add alot.

i didnt like it. personally, i'm just waiting for sunday night football myself, but until then I'll stick with reruns of Jackass on MTV or a DVD. I dislike Joe Rogan, and the other guy was okay, maybe if he was teamed with a better partner I'd watch again.

I just have to add that the PEFECT new host should have been Artie Lang. Without a doubt, it is the ONLY person that could have made the transitions of hosts seemless. Don't know who the other person should have been.

I don't have a problem with Joe Rogan when he is acting; I thought he was allright on NewsRadio, and the one episode of Just Shoot Me he was on.

But his real-life persona I don't like, and unfortuantely, that is what we get to see on the Man Show.

He actually would have been a solid choice.

I was listening to Loveline five or so weeks ago and while I can't remember exactly what Corolla said, it sounded like Comedy Central kind of screwed them over somehow.

Here is something pretty funny & relevant to a lot of posts in this thread.

When the new Man Show hosts were announced, I made a post in a thread then that Rogan is one of the worste choices they could make, b/c he will just hit on the juggies or at the least his attitude will piss them off.

Well, today the N.Y.Post ran an article saying how all of the juggies HATE Rogan. And before the first show of the first season aired Rogan had one of the juggies fired b/c he didn't like their "work ethic" (And I bet that juggy was the last remaining twin, my favorite juggy, who was absent of the first episode of the new season Anyway, the article just went on to say that pretty much every juggy hates Rogan b/c of his attitude.

They seemed way too nervous... or something. I don't mind Rogan on Fear Factor, but he just seemed uncomfortable up there. Doug just felt too much liek he was doing a routine. Not natural at all.

What's worse, where Adam & Jimmy were like the fun doofuses, Joe & Doug come off more creepy for some reason. Maybe it's because they just don't seem to be having fun. Hopefully they'll get better as it goes on. I dunno.

the show was not very good. hopefully it will somehow improve but the magic's gone. *sniff

they did have a quick cameo with Ron Jeremy though.

there was no "happy ending" for me.

Thats it! I couldn't put my finger on it, but thats it. Adam and Jimmy were always funny in a pathetic kind of way, these guys are just creepy.

Well since his show is now over, how about Dave Attell?

I've been watching the Man Show ever since it began with Jimmy and Adam and after seeing the new version, I probably won't continue watching.

The show worked with Adam and Jimmy because they were such good friends and knew each other so well. Doug and Joe seem like they met each other the day they taped the first show and each came in with their own material. There were no "put down" jokes, no interaction with the Juggies or the audience and it just looked like they weren't having any fun.

Also, I think they are going to lose their entire female audience (however small it was before). I think girls liked the old show because it was funny to hear Adam and Jimmy talk about ogling women, masturbation and what guys like to do. I really don't think they want to constantly hear about prostitution and massage parlors.

Sadly, yes. He said it was getting to hard to do the man on the street without getting mugged by fans. This is why a lot of this seasons shows were in Europe. But this was actually Dave's decision, not the networks. Hopefully he will be back in a new series.

Absolutely F;n brilliant my man. You could not have picked a more perfect host. Artie Lang & Dave Attell. What are the comedy central execs thinking. Those 2 are exactly what the show needs as hosts. Both of them look like they should not in any way be in show business. It's what Adam & Jimmy have, they are completely just to average guys. And it makes perfect sense, Attell is a comedy central guy, & we see how much Comedy Central likes to recycle people in different shows of theirs & Land is friends with Corrola, so I just don't see why it didn't happen. Damn, how I hate the man show now.

I can't speak for either one of these guys, but I'm pretty sure that Stern wouldn't let Artie do both shows at the same time, and I'm pretty sure Artie does pretty well on the Stern show. I've heard him mention several times how good it is to be rich now. Not sure he would want to leave that job for the risk that is the new "Man Show". Not to mention, I would much rather have Lang on the Stern show. Gives me something to listen to on the bus in the mornings. He is freaking hilarious though.

Dave is going on the Comedy Central presents tour this fall with Lewis Black. Got third row seats for the Pittsburgh show!!

Got my tickets for the Houston show. I believe Mitch Hedberg is the opener for the show here.

Didn't know about that tour. I just checked ticketmaster.com, and they're going to be here in Albany next month but the best tickets left are in the very last row.

Scratch that. I just saw they're doing a second show with better seats left.

I listen to Loveline pretty regularly and never heard Adam complain much about Comedy Central. He's always had good things to say about Comedy Central and always would point out to Drew how much better things were at Comedy Central compared to MTV.

Adam has said The Man Show was Jimmy's idea, so he didn't want to continue it without him. I've heard Jimmy say several times that Adam is just too lazy and he has to drag him into everything.

I heard Dr. Drew has to do the same thing for Love Line.

I missed Dave when he came to town about 2 months ago, hopefully I can see him this time. I saw Lewis Black several years ago, and he is so freaking funny, this will be one of the best shows in comedy history.
