Danielle was almost a saint to the other houseguests in the house, but her diary room antics and proclamation are what did her in.

Plus, Danielle had to overcome the numbers from "cool kids" clique that were on the jury last season, and in the end, that is what would push Robert to the top should he survive and be in the final two next week because he only needs 4 votes, and has 3 in his back pocket, with another vote very realizable if Allison is the other in the final two (Jee/Dana/Justin, and then Nathan).

I thought the jury couldn't see that stuff?

They can't as of this year. That was changed because the producers reqalized that Danielle got screwed and probably were afraid people would stop talking in the diary room.

Danielle was nothing like Ally.

clemente 09-10-03 08:21 PM

This years players all lack personality....they all saw how well a really strong personality plays on TV - Will, Danielle - and when they try to become that type of entertaining player (most Alison) they fail miserable.

Alison doesn't come off as a mastermind of manipulation, she comes off as a spoiled dumb little girl. But she has played the best of everyone left, which isn't saying much because no one has played the game particularly well or smart, except Jack.

Much like the Amazing Race finale, once the last person I remotely car about leaves the game, I'll stop watching, I won't care who wins.

OT - I saw a promo for a show on Discover IIRC about debunking reality shows and they had a bit with Will on the promo. He basically said "Yeah, I won the show, and I was famous, for like a month, at TGI Fridays"

rotfl

big whoppa 09-10-03 08:31 PM

Some of the players do end up coming off like second rate versions of Will Truman.

ChrisHicks 09-10-03 08:33 PM

so who will the crazy b**** pick to go? like we don't already know.

ChrisHicks 09-10-03 08:41 PM

evenflow 09-10-03 09:29 PM

DAMNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

JuryDuty 09-10-03 09:48 PM

Well no surprise there in my mind. Erika was Alison's biggest threat when it came down to getting votes. Now I'm interested in seeing this competition. Can't believe they're making us wait until next Tuesday to find out what happens. I don't think Robert will win round 1...but I'm not sure if it'll be Alison or Jun that advances.

Patman 09-10-03 10:19 PM

A big Yawn for the final HoH competition, which is always an endurance one. It got really nasty last season, so I expect it to get even more yucky this time around.

movielib 09-10-03 10:51 PM

Warning: HOH Round 1 winner:

Spoiler:
Déjà vu, Alison wins round 1 of The HOH competition.

Patman 09-10-03 10:58 PM

At this point, I think I want whoever is up against Allison to win it all.

dolphinboy 09-11-03 12:22 AM

Spoiler:
Alison disgusts me. Really, really, really disgusts me. Jun isn't much better. So I want to root for Rob. He seems like he might actually be an ok guy, but he's such a weenie. He was the only one who spoke of the people watching as his "fans" and he was already making or trying to see if he could make a deal to not have to stay on the house with his hand on the key from the moment they got on. Be a man. Let the women at least think of you as a threat. He was shaking his head and saying "no way" that he could stay up there the moment it started. This from the guy who nearly went HULK on the house because he had to eat PB and J. I don't want Alison to win. That's all that matters now. If Jun wins, ok. If Rob wins, maybe he'll end up with Erika and they'll get married and raise "mama" together.

big whoppa 09-11-03 12:36 AM

I only saw the end of the show (damnit) but I knew Erika was leaving. I was cracking up about the snow.

taa455 09-11-03 08:27 AM

I can't believe some of you think Nathan would vote against Ali. Nathan is such a boob; he would vote for Ali in a heartbeat. I just want Ali to get put in her place. Somebody needs to tell her off, call her out on all her lies and deception. She is a strong player, but she has no class. I would hate for her to win, but at the same time I expect it to happen. Erika was too gracious about her eviction. Ali had continually led Erika to believe she was safe. Screw all this "I don't blame her" crap! I'd say Hell yeah, I blame her, she is a liar and a fake. If I were Erika, I'd be irate at Ali and there is NO WAY I'd vote for her to win. If Erika votes for Ali to win, I would consider that as dumb as Christy voting for Jenna in the last Survivor.

At this point I think Robert would win if he makes the final (which he probably won't do). Rob can count on Dana/Jee/Justin, and I'm pretty sure Erika too. If it is between Jun and Ali, Ali wins easily, IMO.

Cheddarmuff 09-11-03 08:50 AM

I think I would rather be in the house with the evicted people...deep sea fishing, beach, ocean, sweet pad, living the good life if you ask me!!

WillieTheShakes 09-11-03 11:33 AM

I'll raise you one, cheddar - at this point I'd much rather WATCH three hours a week of the jury house than the remaining ass-clowns in the Big Brother house...

Did they show Jee arriving at the jury house? How was the reception by the other jury members?
