so wait a minute....how did the voting go and what how was the final episode set up? They all did new routines that were also voted on?
Oh, And i can't friggin believe that assclown dat won....he sucked. Voss sucked. Should have been Ralphie/Cory out of the final five and Ralphie should have won hands down.....he's hilarious, smart, and has a fantastic sense of timing and delivery.
Dat is a hack.

I also find Ralphie hilarious.
As for Dat... he just needs new material. Having heard the same jokes 3 times is starting to wear thin, but from his interview on Leno after his bit, he wasn't bad at all... had some witty comments there.

I'm vietnamese and I found Dat to be amusing, but not that funny. Some of his stuff was good but it did get old.

Corey, Rob, Dave, and Rich were all on Colin Quinn's Tough Crowd last night (I think it is replayed at 7:30 EST on Comedy Central). It was pretty funny. Rob amusingly compares the show to Rambo 2. Corey had some great bitter one-liners, of course, at Dat's expense. The final wrap-up with each giving their network pitch for Dat was funny.

Dat's super-speed momma voice gets old quick, that delivery needs some work because, perhaps the joke was funny, but delivered in that sped up manner leaves a lot of laughs on the table (when half the audience is asking the friend next to them "what was the punchline?").
Ralphie had me laughing a whole lot more each I saw him. Sure, some of is commentary pointing out the obvious and the ironic, but it's sort of like the same comedy from Chris Rock in that respect. As long as the material is funny, be it jokes or commentary, I'm cool with it.

After seeing the reruns of LCS on Comedy Central, I have to admit that I liked Dat's set against Geoff ... however, murderous feelings swell when he goes into his accent jokes.

I just watched the reruns on Comedy Central today for the first time. I laughed the hardest at Rob Cantrell's set. Dat did make me laugh, but his best line was when he came out of hiding. "I will never play hide-n-seek with you guys ever again." I just about died laughing.

Dat sucked, straight up. I thought his shtick was tiring, he exploited everyones feelings about stereotypes, it wasnt even that funny.
Ralphie was the funniest guy...before the big finale. His whole 'light em up' gag wasnt funny.
Dave Mordell was the funniest guy, ABC or CBS should be on the phone to him.
Tess was dissapointing, I was wating all this time for her to do something, when her time came she was really flat and unfunny. oooh stripper jokes...yawn.

Dat's delivery was generally good and his material was funny (the first time). Besides, it's a popularity contest. Being funny is only one part of it. Some of the comics on there were aggressively ugly AND acted like jerks AND weren't exceptionally funny. Of course they aren't going to win the audience over.
Ralphie and Dat were the best two in the final group. I'm glad it was down to them. Since Ralphie apparently has already made it (he writes for a TV show already, yeah?), it's not such a big blow for him to have lost.

I got an email from the Improv at Harrah's saying that Dat Phan will be playing there ... tickets $25, which is about $24.95 more than I would pay to see his long set.
Checking many of the comics' websites, they seem to be booking fairly well, so national exposure must have been good for all of them (noticed that Cory, Rich, and Dave had a show together in NJ).
