Monk 8/8

To me this episode was only average. I liked the main story but some of the side stuff didn't quite fit - Benji's dad, the psychiatrist and Monk's shennanigans as the nurse walks in just seemed like filler. The last mailman cracked me up.

Also, if anyone has missed episodes this year, USA is doing a marathon of this entire season so far next Sunday (8/17).

I enjoyed it. I didn't think much of Benji's dad, either, but I think it was there to give Monk a good reason to use coma dude as his therapist (not that he necessarily needs one, I suppose).

I would have like them to rub it in the face of the ATF chief some more, though.

the best part whas when Monk couldn't hear and was talking loud. I've always loved Tony Shalhoub because of his role on Wings, and this show just comfirms that even more.

This episode really seemed to be just a variation on the circus episode: the suspect Monk is after "couldn't possibly of done it".

I hope this is the last time they make use of it.

But, loved the "talking loud" parts.

I don't know how many episodes you've seen, but it's pretty much the premise of the show. Monk knows WHO did it, he just has to figure out HOW.

I've seen all of them. I guess you're right now that I really think about it.
