The show felt a little "empty" this week without at least one team that is radically different (Steve and Dave filled that role.)

Watching Chuck just STARE at the train was HILARIOUS.

I'm thinking Tian or Jaree (whichever one it was) was over reacting in the train... no one else was "abused."

Big thumbs down to Chip and Reichen taking the risk, getting ahead.. then having to WAIT NINE HOURS while everyone bunched up. I was pretty mad. I'm hoping they win now, they seem to be the only couple that really cares about each other. IT sucked seeing them not win that cruise by footsteps!

The NFL women were bound to run out of luck... after that stupid mistake in the first episode, it was bound to happen, I'm surprised it took this long.

Not true.

Kelly: "Someone's grabbing my butt."
Jaree: "Somebody just grabbed my boob!"
Tian: "Why are they pinching me?"

The NFL Wives seemed to be unscathed, but their train was also a lot less crowded.

It'd be interesting to know what Millie experienced, but since the cameraman barely made it on the train, I guess there was no footage to show of her.

You could be right. However, what I ment was when it's that crowded, your imagination is waaaay more likely to think of stuff like that.

I finally caught up to on the last couple of weeks. I have to congratulate the NFL Wives Club - they made it much further than I ever thought they would.

Tian and Jaree may have turned a new leaf - if they get along maybe they can be more successful.

Millie and Chuck are starting to get on my nerves. Chuck is a wuss.

David and Jeff finally worked their way towards the front of the pack - I have been surprised by how badly they had been doing until recently.

The Ambigously Gay Duo didn't get on my nerves this episode - a welcome first. They didn't bitch about anyone trying to get them out of the race, etc...

It was entertaining to hear all their comments about how India smells. However I was hoping one of them would make some sort of comment about how they needed more birth control real bad, espically when at the train station.

And I'm still suprized that the clowns found their sari at the shop with thousands to choose from. Seems to me that the laundry was the sure thing.

I'm not up on the culture of India, but I did find it a little odd that there were no other women on the train... so it is possible that molestation goes on there... And man, do those cameramen have to be active, to get on trains and such...

I wonder what kind of security each team has. They obviously have a single cameraman following them around. But they go to some pretty remote destinations, and teams seem to get lost pretty easily... couldn't they easily go into a seedy part of town?

I think this is the first time I felt bad for the all girl teams. Especially carrying the fish back.

I wonder what the fast forward was for this neck of the race? Any inside info?

Last season a team was brought by their cab driver to the wrong part of town, where they were promptly arrested by authorities and had their passports taken away. The show had to intervene on their behalf and get them out.

I was also thinking that India renamed Bombay to whatever it is now reminded me of the ValuJet -> Air Tram renaming.

Was this arrest shown on tv?

That's still much better than being taken in by someone other than the authorities. When was this filmed, anyway? Before the anti-US sentiment that resulted from our operation in Iraq?

Pretty much. Eventually one of the authorities did the classic "Hand over the camera move" and that was the end of it.

This was last year, after 9/11 but before Iraq.

As far as there being no other women on the train, there were a few mainly empty cars on the front reserved for women... i have no idea why the female teams didn't get on there.

I think I just saw Kelly in a commercial for Priceline.com. It was near the end of the commercial and she was talking about visiting her aunt or something (as a normal commercial actress, nothing hinting that she's from amazing race or anything)
Anyone else notice this or is it just a look alike?
