Miss Universe

Anybody watch this?

I actually predicted the correct Final-3 during the initial showing of the contestents although my order was off - I though it would be South Africa, Venezuela, Dominican Republic. The order was reversed. Miss USA was a major disappointment - flat chest and all.

This was also the first time I recall that they did not show the scores. Figures that NBC would be behind since they never show the score in sporting events they televise.

Finally, who was that dork hosting it? I like the good old days of Miss Universe when Bob Barker hosted it.

I watched it sporadically. I was hoping for an all Latin American final three, with Brazil replacing South Africa, not that she was a bad choice or anything. I thought that Ms. Dominican Republic would win, and for once I was right. And yes, while USA was very cute, she did not compare favorably with the other women.

And what is wrong with Daisy Fuentes?

Ok Im having a hard time admitting I watched this, but I did.

Did anybody else love it when that one dumb blonde was asked "If you had to either be fire or water, which would you be and why?" Granted, stupid question, but the answer was priceless "I am not water or fire, therefore i cannot answer the question. I am a human with feelings and emotions!" I almost fell off the couch with that one. How did she beat Japan?

And miss America was NOT flat, she just wasn't a DDDD.

That was funny. I'd say water - water trumps fire.

She was flat. She should have taped her breasts together.

And that was actually the most creative question too... I hadn't thought about water putting out fire... I just kept thinking about being snuggled around a warm fire as a kid, and warming up people. I suppose one could scorch them all to death too, though.

NOTHING beats the Miss USA that Deion Sanders hosted. NOTHING. They need to bring him back, no matter what the cost.
