Here's one I hope some of you remember: Prey.
That show was so underrated. If I remember correctly, it ended with Debra Messing's character in peril and the main ****-superior dude getting captured by the government and placed into a cage at the end.

Yes, The Lone Gunman series wrapped in an episode of the final season on the the X-Files. I do remember a Millenium crossover as well but I don't remember if it was a resolution to the series.

I don't know if I'm remembering erectly, but I think Quantum Leap was cancelled after they had already filmed the last ep. So they added the "never returned home" text at the end.
Also, how did the Alf show end?

Little bit of trivia--the one that got kidnapped, Keri I think her name was, is Carrie-Ann Moss.

They eventually did a movie where it was revealed that the military did get them, not the aliens.

Wow, I was gonna say Popular and then I come in here and find out not one but two other people watched this as well. Thought it had a great first season but it just went off the deep end in season two. It went from a fun comedy/drama with cool quirks to a goofy overboard campfest.

Not sure if anybody's mentioned this either, but what about Married With Children? There really wasn't any resolution there, but I thought this was because Fox told the producers late in the season that the season ender would be the final episode, so they had to come up with something quick.
