There were several.

Several of the Hulk tv movies also featured Marvel characters, like Thor or Daredevil.

There was a Dr. Strange one in the seventies.

Mutant X is the only other series I can remember recently, but it wasn't a made for tv movie.

Live action Justice League never made it to air.

http://us.imdb.com/Title?0118365

My old company was tapped to budget the visual effects for the show and I have the original 1 hr pilot script, but we never did the effects and I have no idea what was used from the original script in the 2 hr pilot.

Oh man. I want to watch that. Anyone ever see the fantastic four movie. With out a single cussword? Man that was great.

No but right after Nick Fury was on tv, fox did another comic movie, but i cant remember it. Not series, but a movie.
Generation X:

Nick Fury:

Fantastic Four:

I cant say i mind the leather the xmen wear. Maybe it was a good decision.
The flash and hulk were tv series, a lot like birds of prey.

Yeah it was similar to Generation X, because I remember the one kid going to make a move on the girl that looked similar to Keri Russel and just as he did his powers developed that allowed him to see through her clothes. I can't remember the name of the movie, unless that is Gen X I am thinking about.

Justice League was done in live action many years ago. The costumes were better than the ones pictured above.

I've seen the Justice League movie and the costumes are exactly as the ones pictured by devilshalo

Have any pics of the one you're talking about?

I had no idea one existed. It looks like Adam West/Burt Ward's Batman & Robin. I wouldn't mind seeing it.

There were two of them -- Legends of the Superheroes: the Challenge, and Legends of the Superheroes: The Roast. Both were incredibly cheezy -- if I remember correctly, the climax of the Challenge episode involved Batman and Robin chasing Mordru around a lake on jet skis.

Those shows had some strange casting. The heroes made sense; you couldn't use Superman and Wonder Woman because the rights were tied up with the Christopher Reeve movie and the Linda Carter series, but other than them, they had all the expected characters -- Batman, Captain Marvel (Shazam), the Flash, Green Lantern, Hawkman, Huntress, and Black Canary. OK, Huntress and Black Canary were strange choices, but I guess they wanted more women.

But the villains? I guess Gorshin wanted to do the show (or was willing to, anyway), so that explains the Riddler. And Sivana and Sinestro are a little obscure, but make sense when you consider that they are the archfoes of two fo the heroes. But Giganta? Solomon Grundy? Mordru? Mordru's not even from this century!

Anyway, if you poke around on ebay and/or conventions, you should be able to find a bootleg copy. Be warned: it's very, very cheezy.

There must be tons of Superhero movies/TV shows that I never saw or heard of.

It wasn't until the VH-1 'Where are they now' episode that I knew a live action Shazam series was made.

I never knew a live-action Spiderman series was made until about 6 years ago.

Imagine my horror of seeing an Aquaman series on cartoon network last month. I could have gone longer not knowing the lamest superhero (oxymoron if there ever was) had his own series. Supid Aqualad and his walrus sidekick. Too bad Aquaman didn't get caught in a tuna net and canned.

W.E.I.R.D. World (1995) and Two-Fisted Tales (1991) were TV movies based on EC Comics (produced by the same people who did HBO's Tales from the Crypt and Perversions of Science). The Two-Fisted Tales episodes were later repeated as Tales from the Crypt episodes.

The Human Target TV series (based on the DC Comic's character) was produced by the same people who did The Flash (it lasted for only seven episodes).

Misfits of Science? It wasn't from a comic book, but involved similar type of mutants.

"But Giganta? Solomon Grundy? Mordru?"

Was this around the time of "Challenge of the Superfriends", if so, maybe it was because it was they would have been known from the cartoon? I can't explain Mordu though.

Were the Captain America movies/show already mentioned?
