A Painted House airs @ 9:00 PM April 27th on CBS

I thought the book was pretty good and from the ads the movie looks promising as well.

I loved the book too and was expecting a movie.Well TV movie is not bad i guess.will definitely watch it.

Heard the book on "radio reader". Thought that it never really WENT anywhere and completely trailed off at the end-- it was like Grisham just got tired of writing, and tacked on something to get it over with.
