Boomtown 4/13

I liked this episode. NM did a great job tonight as McNorris I thought. Though it was pretty obvious that he didn't hit the guy for how little damage was done to the car.

If that don't make him quit drinking.. I dunno what would. That's one hell of a scare.

The whole "elderly neglect" thing was ripped straight from "The Shield."

Susan Ward

Yeah - she looked awesome.

I figured that he hit some animal. That was great when the cops put him in the interrogation room.

I can't believe that next week's episode is already the season finale. Considering that it was off all of February sweeps, there is no way that they did a full 22-episode season.

No doubt that NBC will be filling that timeslot during May sweeps with some incarnation of Law & Order reruns.

Yeah, Boomtown was never going to have a "full" 22-episode season. NBC only ordered like 15-18 episodes if memory serves.

It better be renewed, that's all I'm saying.

This show has really gone downhill. I'll probably watch next week's finale, but I doubt I'll be back next season (if the show even returns).

I liked last night's ep a lot, too. McDonough did an excellent job, imo. I also liked how they used non-linear multi-p.o.v. story method again. Seems like a few people have complained about that lately.

Susan Ward looked nice and curvy.

Does suck that next week is the finale, hopefully it gets picked up. I really like this cast.

Glad to see this episode returned to the more non-linear style this show started off with.

I guess the ratings have been diving over the last few weeks, which isn't a good sign. Especially with only one episode to go.

Renew renew renew!! I really like this show, especially when they stick with what they started with (the Rashomon effect) like in this episode. Here's to hoping that it's picked up for next season.

Next week's "Season Finale" is the "SERIES finale". USA Today announced a few days ago that it is CANCELLED.

LOVED the show, but I'm not surprised. The masses have terrible taste.

Don't know where in USA Today you saw that. There is nothing in their archives about Boomtown being cancelled.

My sister gets the USA Today paper and called me to read me the exerpt over the phone. It seemed to be in an article about general cancellations.

Looking around the web, I see it being stated as "undecided", so I hope USA Today was premature.
