Yes, a very very old thread, but I just picked up all 4 seasons of The Shield (thank you Best Buy and killer 19.99 sales) and I finished the second season last night. Just needed to comment on the excellent montage sequence at the end. The music mixed with those images gave me the chills. Particularly the last image of the camera pulling back with the money. Great television right there.

Right up there with my favorites like The Wire, Six Feet Under, and Weeds.

Yeah, season 2 was great. I think I like seasons 4 and 5 better, though.

The only season of the shield I thought was a little disappointing was four. But overall, this show has very few sub-par episodes.

Go to bud.tv and register. They put up a 15 minute episode of the Sheild which will bridge the gap between Season 5&6!

Season 5 was absolutely phenomenal! Gonna be a tough one to follow
