Well... I won't write a spoiler tag, but I will just say that it was not a good episode... it had its moment but nothing too special although Millhouse made me laugh at the end of the episode.

Best episode of the season so far. Just about everything worked in this episode. The only lame jokes were the alien asteroid and (despite a good use of the joke) another Carl and Lenny is gay reference. Otherwise it was a fine episode with a coherent plot that got started right from the first minute.
BTW, tonight's Futurama was great too.

I guess I'm going to be in the minority on this one. I thought this was one of the best episodes I've seen in years. Everything in it worked for me, and I was
almost the whole time. The absurdity of the whole "perma-noon" setting on the dimmer switch was hilarious.
Not to mention what everyone was seeing in the stars when they first dimmed the lights:
Mr. Burns - dollar sign
Cletus - cent sign
Flanders - star of david
Lenny - Carl
Fat Tony's crew beating up the bird!
"Hey, you're not John Ritter!"
"Andy you're not that gorilla from the zoo!"

Great episode!
That scene when one of the meteors struck, Professor Frink is going on about providing proof of outerspace life forms and the little green alien tells him "shut up",
That was hilarious!
Also Krusty stapling the burger halves together and then Milhouse at the end in the documentary,

One question though, whatever happend to the intro? I've always enjoyed reading what Bart writes on the chalkboard during the intro, now it's shorten to just the going to the couch scene.
But nonetheless, this episode was

I didn't think it was all that great. Futurama was about 10x better tonight.

Disappointing ep. Especially after last weeks..
Milhouse at the end was the only thing that saved it..

The Milhouse thing was about him saying how he was going to hit play baseball when he grew up & then there was a montage of his futility at the plate (both against a live pitcher & off of a tee). Pretty funny stuff.
And Frink throwing the microscope was pretty quality.

they were on a roll recently with some pretty solid episodes in the last few weeks, but this one was just alright... the milhouse bit was great and the stars in the sky bit was funny, but other than that, it was just alright...

Well, maybe not everyone was as stoned out of their mind as I was last night. I'll rewatch it sober and post the results. I have a feeling I'm still going to love it though!

Very funny episode, laughed out loud several times. The Homer quote where he "wishes God was alive" made me laugh the most. Did they make reference to the planet "Rigel 7" existing?
