Possibly. There are MSNBC contributors on there, but the last actual employee seems to be Steve Kornacki in October.

Having Dems go on Fox News in my view would not legitimize them, it would expose them for the one-sided, closed-minded, don't let facts and the truth get in the way of our political beliefs and positions. It would provide the opportunity to present other points of view to those with a mindset that is not completely closed off. Nowhere to go but up with those folks.

I didn't catch it at all.

I know I have heard Maher say he was raised "middle-class."
And I have heard him admit on-the-air he has plenty of $$$.

Nope.
I didn't catch the bit being referenced here, but at worst, Maher was raised "upper" middle class - his dad was a news editor and radio announcer and his mother was a nurse. Their family may not have been "rich," but they weren't living paycheck to paycheck either. They had enough money to send him to an Ivy League college.

He definitely said he was among the middle-class when he brought up the tax cut. Might have been a slip of the tongue but he said “us” in relation to it.

Yeah, I seem to recall Maher also using "us" when talking about the middle class, but the show is not worth a re-watch for verification.

I do remember him saying something about "the tax cut being for the wealthy only and how do you like that?" (or words to that effect)
Or maybe he said "for US wealthy?"
I dunno...I would have to re-watch to know for sure.

Again, I haven't seen the show in question, but I do know Maher has said many times in the past that he's among those who pay the highest tax rates (and he's not bitter about it).

Kraft isn't getting shit for sex trafficking. He's getting shit for paying for a hand job regardless of other circumstances. All Bill is saying is that a guy should be able to get a hand job without getting into shit for it. Or, nobody should give a fuck if someone uses prostitutes.

Re: Real Time with Bill Maher (HBO) - Series Discussion Thread

I hate Kraft as much as anybody, between his team, his politics and his smarmy attitude, but yeah I kind of think it's ridiculous to make this a sex trafficking issue. It's a happy ending in a massage place. That happens in every town with a massage parlor every night. It might be wrong, but it's not a big deal at least as far as the clientele goes. The employers are the ones at fault here.
Let me put it this way : If he went in for a massage, not knowing the girl doing the massage was a sex slave and turned down the happy ending, would he still be wrong? I mean he was using a victim of sex trafficking for personal pleasure, right?

Nice to see Costas on the show.

Kraft should be kicked out of the NFL

If Eddie Debartolo did that they would have thrown the book at him.

For paying for sex? You think Eddie never got action from a pro? If you're going to kick out people from pro sports for paying for sex, it's going to be a very long list. And that doesn't even count the golddiggers.

The most hilarious thing is Kraft going to a strip mall massage parlor on the day of the AFC title game. In a bentley.

You'd think the fool could order in.

And fuck Bob Costas pissing all over the NFL/football ....had no problem cashing those checks covering the NFL for 40 years.

I've always said - love him for baseball. Nothing else, pink-eye, including the Olympics.

But he was right on Kate Smith. And recognizing that Robert E Lee and Ralph Kramden were real and fictional.

Re: Real Time with Bill Maher (HBO) - Series Discussion Thread

Had the place not been exploiting women. If it was just a regular rub and tug, I don't think this would have gotten nearly the press. Let's face it, you throw out every pro who has paid for sex and you'll have no league. I hate the guy, but give the guy kudos that at 77 is still getting a handy. Good for him. Maybe there's hope for all of us when we hit that age.

Like everyone else, I hate the guy (and his fncking coach).
But kicking him out of the league for buying sex is a little extreme....or poetic justice.

Did anyone else watch yesterday's show? Moby gives a master class in how to say the wrong thing and totally lose your audience. He does it TWICE in fact. Super-awkward.

Yeah, Moby was awkward.

I liked Bill's bit on ASMR.

I had heard of it in the context of soothing or satisfying sounds, but I didn't realize how ridiculous some people were getting with it.

The ASMR bit made me laugh more than usual. Especially cutting to Moby.

ASMR is crazy and was funny.
OTOH, it's not too surprising either...

Yeah, that was great, I loved Bill's response regarding that. One sentence too much there, Moby.

I've heard of it, but thought it was more of a sexual fetish thing. I have to admit, when I see and hear a hot girl with a sexy voice whispering into a microphone, I don't feel relaxation but rather
