VH1's Behind the Movie

Had never heard of this series until I caught the Top Gun episode while flipping channels last night. Is this a new series for VH1?

I thought it was pretty good - a nice departure from Behind the Music, since that series is all but exhausted.

Learned a few things too...

-Kenny Loggins was not meant to sing "Danger Zone".
-Michael Ironside almost got in a fight at a coffee shop over the false depiction of fighter pilots in the movie.
-REO Speedwagon got snubbed from the soundtrack.

I cant believe it, the whole episode was spoiled for me.

Sorry I had to be a smartarse there. I actually finally got a chance to tape the broadcast last night after catching bits and peices for a while. According to the website its the first episode in their spin-off from Behind the Music.

Wasn't there one on "Grease" and "Rocky Horror Picture" show? I think those were technically "Behind the Music" episodes, though.

Must be VH1's desperate plan to get people to watch them again. Good luck...
