The Bachelorette Finale - 2/19/03
Tonight's the night for Trista (I'm thinking she'll be choosing Charlie).
If you thought the 2 hours finale on Joe Millionaire was padding, at least you get to see Trista take each guy to meet her folks. Yawn.

Can we drag this frickin thing out anymore....
I am getting very tired of Trista's "I just don't know....I am in love with both of them....why can't I have both" crap.... God she bothers me...

I want to watch the show tommorrow just for the Helene and Aaron interview. Helene requested that ABC not have them in the same room when doing the interviews

I thought it was more interesting than Joe Millionaire- the emotions seemed much much more genuine. I really thought she would choose Charlie- a more confident guy. Ryan seemed way too nervous, but that probably meant he really really did love her and was afraid of losing. Also, I would think Ryan would make a more faithful and respectful lover- maybe just because he's a bit of a dork.
Wow.... when I saw the tears on Trista's face, I had to cry too.

Well, score one for the sensitive guy. I'd tape it, and watched the last 15 minutes this morning. I think Trista went for the guy who went out on a limb each and every time they were together. Perhaps being a fireman helped Ryan amp up his courage and throw caution in the wind as he continued to woo Trista with poems, drawings, and tender thoughts throughout the "process".
I'm glad slick Charlie was sent home with his ego shattered. Never liked him from the get-go, and he seems too materialistic and into style over substance. I think Trista was able to discern that side of Charlie and decided to go for the supportive/protective guy that Ryan was over the GQ looks of Charlie.

If you watched how Trista interacted with Ryan and Charlie in the previous "dates" I always came away thinking she was more at ease with Ryan because he was never "in her face" and always supportive, which suits her personality better. Whenever she'd be talking with Charlie, she seem to talking to him in the third person.

Ryan reminded me of the Quarterback character in Election. I was afraid he was going to get all excited when she picked him, pick her up and spike her on the steps.
