I thought it was good. I thought the radiation poisoning was something different then the standard murders on the show.
The highlight for me was Horatio going in after they test the lawyer for radiation and talking to her. He tells her she has radiation poisoning and that it's equal to the dosage 4 people get in a month yet when she wants to know how much time she has left now he says she should wait for the doctor What the hell was he doing in there in the first place?

I really enjoyed last night's episode - despite the implausibilities mentioned above. Horatio is so over-the-top, I can't help myself from mentioning it in every weekly thread about this show.
The radiation plot was a nice departure for a bit - and quite interesting.

It was better than the average CSI: Miami episode so far. I like the CGI they used on Eric for the different forms of radiation (green for gamma, which is what hit Bruce Banner - The Hulk).

They booted her off, and wrote her out of the show by having her character send Horatio a note saying that she came back to work too soon, so she quit her job again and moved away (Chicago?).

I thought it was good but really had to suspend reality. come on, a weasly little man twisting a muggers neck?
Horatio is really starting to get on my nerves. This was a great episode to break through and do some different acting but he didn't take the oportunity. When he broke the news to her he said it exactly the same like he did every other little thing.
and what was with the suden enlightened moment when he figured out that the informant was an insider (wow shock) and that he must have taken the pictures (wow, another one and I might have a heart attack).
at least there was some slight character development in this one.

David Caruso's dialogue and wooden delivery is the worst thing about this show. He tries to do the cool one-liners ala Gil Grissom but it just doesn't work.
They always do that before the opening credits.
"Horatio, this guy is dead."
"No-- he isn't alive." (overdramatically looks at camera.)
