Farscape 1/31
This episode was pretty good overall IMO. Mostly focusing on D'argo. It was pretty good to get some more on his history, but I may have missed a few things since my cable was out during the whole set of episodes where they found and then lost (?) his kid, and I'm waiting for the DVDs.
Seems to me like John didn't get much out of that training at all. whoop de doo.
also, from looking at the episode breakdowns at www.farscapeworld.com, I'm getting more and more frustrated about not seeing a conclusion to what appears to be a backbreaking cliffhanger.

Wow! Someone other than me started a Farscape thread! Good stuff
I actually saw this episode "Mental As Anything" on Monday, but I figured it was too soon to post the thread since the US airdate was yesterday.
Anyways...this was a good ep [focused on the boys], but like someone posted in last weeks thread, it gets kinda repetitive saying "this was a great episode".
But, with Farscape [unlike other shows that are "fresh"], this is a continuous occurance.
And next week's ep "Bringing Home the Beacon" will be more of the same.
A LOT more.
[But i'll wait til next week to talk about it...]
I haven't read the episode breakdowns, but they seem to be layering threads that are slowly winding together as we near the ...
... Series Finale.
I believe one such thread is Crichton's "training". We shall see.
And mark my words...if the conclusion is a "backbreaking cliffhanger" as Tuan Jim is reporting...

Bringing Home the Beacon starts very slowly, but ends with a huge plot twist, so stick with it. (Ben's better half is in it too. I think she's the Scaran, but who knows under all those prosthetics).
I watched it and thought, I can't believe this is going to end in about 9 episodes.
If what you do returns to you ten fold then Ms Hammer better watch her back in the future.

Seeing from all the posts here, I am guessing not that many people saw it anyway.

Other than saying "fantastic episode!" or in the case of Friday's ep "pretty good", there isn't much else to say. We know the show doesn't have a future... and (even more frustrating) we know the show doesn't really have much of an ending...
Other than bitching about the cancellation, I find there isn't much to discuss here without getting completely depressed. I'm finding that watching these episodes is strangely emotional -- every time I think "Damn, that was cool!", it's followed by thoughts of how cheated I'm going to feel in a couple of months when the show is dropped without a proper ending.
That being said, Friday's episode was fine. Not the best ever, but a decent (somewhat) stand-alone episode.

OK, shoot me if you must for asking, but.....Can someone tell me the "big twist" from the end of this episode?

But, if you'll still allow me...

Ratings are in:
http://www.watchfarscape.com/news/ar...php?newsid=233
1.0 at 8PM. 0.4 at 12:30AM.
Down from last week (but the whole night seems to have gotten pretty pathetic ratings).
