Yeah, I liked it too. The ending was a bit predictable, as soon as the boy's power was explained, but it didn't take away from the show for me. What hooked me for next week is this organization he meets up with led(?) by Robert the Bruce.
!!! That's who it was! It was driving me nuts! I knew I recognized him from somewhere!!

I give the pilot a thumbs up.

It's kinda like xfiles "I want to Believe (in Aliens)." Lets see if they can keep a whole season of new stories, and not steal from old Amazing Stories/Twilight Zone/Xfiles storylines.

This show is undoubtedly going to draw numerous comparisons to the X-Files which I think is unfortunate because those are big shoes to fill. One thing in the X-Files format I think they will have to follow is to bring in a partner for Skeet. He needs a foil, someone who is a disbeliever and can counter his religious beliefs with hard science. I don't think it needs to necessarily be a woman, although I think they would probably draw more viewers that way. In which case, I cast my vote for Annabeth Gish. Her X-files career was way too short.

I liked the show. Pretty interesting so far.

Unfortunately, I don't see it sticking around ABC very long. I have no faith (heh, pun) they'll give it a chance.

This is one of the very few shows on the Alphabet channel that I like ... The Mole being the other. I did not catch the God is Nowhere and God is Now Here similarity so thanks, it makes it more intriguing.

That being said, it is up against some STIFF competiton so I don't know how long it will last considering it did not do very well last night in the ratings.

Skeet Ulrich - Scream1 = Johnny Depp/Nick of Time.

I liked it a lot.

I loved the lines that Paul and Alva had toward the end about the kid who could heal at the cost of his own life

Paul "Why would God do that?"

Alva " Who said it was God"

looking forword to next week

Was Hector Elizondo just a guest star for this episode and we won't see much of him, or a full-time cast member? I guess, based on the way the show ended that it's the former.

I finally got around to watching this today and thought it was decent. It does have some promise and I'll continue watching to see how it pans out.
