VH1s "I love the 80s"

Just noticed that VH1 is running these again today (sunday)....i missed them around new years except for 89, and they are friggin hilarious.....all kinds of different folks reminiscing about various sports, tv, fashion, music, etc from different years. They are on 1981 right now...priceless memories - Anyone else have a Members Only jacket?

anyway....for those born late 60s - early 70s, these shows are great....1982 coming up next

These were great. I'm amazed VH1 actually took time from their Top Gun/Godfather marathons to show this stuff.

The only thing that was bad is that they were too short [IMO]. Each ep should've been an hour or more...

Rogue: Each year IS an hour long and they are on 1983 right now....so hours of 80s nostalgia remain to be enjoyed today....

Doh! What I meant to say was they should be TWO hours for each year.

Yeah...that's it...

Hell, why doesn't VH1 just become an 80s channel?

VH1 Classics is pretty much an all 80s channel.

I caught some of two episodes in the past and they were a really good watch. Great to see all the 80s pop, from Balki and Cozin Larry to George Michaels and Who's the Boss?

Funny.

Oh man, how we used to dress back then.

Brought back a TON of good memories.

Information you didn't ask for:
Spoiler:
First time I had sex, we were listening to Duran Duran.

Honk!

Oh, wow, this is such an addictive series: I've been watching since 1981, and haven't changed stations yet. It's just B-list celebs, with a few A-list clebs every now and then acting nostalgic to clips of music videos, TV shows, and movies. Fun!

Yeah. That would kill about 15 minutes. I'd love to see them wax nostalgic about the Backstreet Boys...

The specials were great. No idea why that dude from Ed was making so much fun of He-Man though.

I've never watched Ed, and now, I probably never will. I have grown to pretty much hate that guy and his smart-ass comments, and I've never seen him before today. Yeah, you're really funny, guy.
